The bullets that fly out of their rifles or carbines, will still have the same velocity. For special forces, brains matter more than brawns - and the Indians have plenty of that!

Platitudes aside - you can't judge physique from pictures like these. Also, what matters most to SF and airborne soldiers is not strength, but stamina. And that is also something that can't be judged from pictures.

Rest assured, the special forces and airborne troops are a class apart as far as physical fitness go. Only a small percentage of those who apply make the final cut. These are machines that can drop down and "give a thousand", or march 20 miles with full combat load and then shoot with pin-point accuracy. There is a reason they wear the maroon beret - because they have earned it.

Anyway @janon your points still stand. Look at what these guys have to do to become PARAs (Airborne) or even regular infantrymen and you'll know these guys are as fit as they come.

They are very well trained, but compared to US soldiers, Indian soldiers do have a disadvantage in upper body strength.

Same goes for all the other South Asians.

You are talking about Gorkhas. Watch your tongue. They are small but the tarrain and tough life in mountains have made them fearsome warrior. Gorkhas have more RBC in blood which carry more oxygen then a normal man. Which help him perform better in tough tarrain.

No need to get offended, but in my experience, indian soldiers have good fitness, but they really need to bulk up, most - but not all have very skinny arms and chest, which makes them struggle. IMHO.

Okay...Americans are not our enemy Pakistanis are and as far as i remember from the thousands of pics and hundreds of videos of Pakistan Army the physique of a Indian is comparable to a Pakistani if you exclude the Gorkhas...who by the way are one of the best infantrymen the world has ever seen.
