Nuts exist everywhere. Japan is no exception. From my opinion Japan is a very weird country. It’s much asian if you look at the people and behaviors but they are very much of the west. The assassin is said a former member of the Japanese armed forces I think that explains a bit.

3. He was feuding with the current PM Fumio Kishida on various issues, because Kishida doesn't go full blown war on China like Abe and Kishida doesn't like Abenomics.
4. Abe's killer, Tetsuya Yamagami, explained his reason for killing Abe was because his mother got bankrupted by one of his related religious cults.
