In 1971, Pakistan made inconsiderable loss to Bangladesh. It proves that why we are having so much struggle to have ties. If Pakistanis had brains,they would have apologized. Some of Islamic cleric who initially were Pakistan supporters just because of the want of undivided Pakistan,later wanted to join Bangladeshi Movement seeing the mass killing done by Pak forces. Pakistan has gone through lots of struggles I accept and had gone through 16 major missions. Most of the wars were threatening to Pakistan identity. That's why, Bangladesh didn't try to make situation more worse,what could have been used by India as an intimidating weapon. But as of Pakistan almost ended all the wars,just a simple Civil war left, it is time Pakistan to deal with this drastic reality. 2014 is a great landmark for Muslims of Sub-continent as we will end the major struggles with foreign powers. This situation yet remains a dirt to our relation.

How many west pakistanis were killed??? Was it before operation search light or after that!!! Who was responsible for that. As I said earlier if you do not accept the Biharis as your citizen then who are you to ask that!!! There is no comparison with killing million of unarmed civilians and raping of thousand of woman with some revenge killing provided killing of any civilians who were innocent should be condemned.

For the 'millions of Bengalis killed & hundreds of thousands of raped' is as unsubstantiated as the assertion that hundreds of thousands of Biharis were killed !

As for the Bihari part - We accept them as our citizens hence why we repatriated so many of them back to Pakistan ! No one in Pakistan hates the Government more than us for leaving the rest of them Stranded in Bangladesh !

Onus is not on anyone - We've moved on ! You want to cry hoarse for an apology - Be my guest but you're not getting anything more than 'the regret' that Musharaf gave when he visited your country !

There was no butchering, they are living happily ever after in the Geneva Camp in Mohammadpur and in Bihari Camp in Mirpur. A year back, they were given Bangladeshi Citizenship, considering their human condition and seeing that Pak, always refused to take them back so that they can propagate.....get your facts right.

Pakistan cannot have any special relations with Bangladesh.We are not Europe where England and France fought wars for many centuries and now have free trade and free entry for each others citizens.
In South Asia mentalities are different,plus the added bonus of Bangladesh politics having being controlled by India,there is no chance of a trouble free relationship.

Our FM shouldn't have done all this,eventually Dhaka follows orders from Bombay and Dehli,plus internal grudge against Pakistan,all that wont help.
