Why are we stuck on the UN resolution on Kashmir? History has proved beyond doubt that Kashmir will be an unviable small country bordered by giants that will be used by foreign powers to create more trouble in the region. We do not need more trouble, however Pakistan's priorities seem unclear.

Lets just honor the UN resolutions on not supporting terrorism, thats a viable idea that will benefit everyone.

Kashmir is a core bilateral issue that is yet to be addressed and solved....and not just amongst Pakistanis but Kashmiris themselves. It's a long lasting dispute which sould be approached and solved in a fair and just matter. You cannot just bury issues under a rug and wish them away. Sooner or later they have to be addressed properly.

the Kashmiri issue is not one of economics, so i fail to see why these indian people always bring up the fact that Kashmir (even as an independent nation altogether) would be ''unviable''


same could be said about Pakistan, post partition. Not only did Pakistan not receive its fair share, there was no industry and little to no infrastructure at partition. In just 1-2 decades there was mass industrialization and economic/land reforms which were the envy of the day

if the core issues are addressed, then there's no reason not to have friendship and economic cooperation.....but if the core issues of contention are NOT addressed, then how will this resonate in the eyes of the public and the government

There is only one core issue i guess and that is Kashmir ... its mother of all issues ... if this issue is settled i think there is a better way forward ... How about converting the LOC into border...

If we cant live as friends atleat we can live without being enemies of each others

Most Indians seem to be on-board with making a friend out of Pakistan, but somehow insecure India hating Pakistanis(u) will never be confident enough to call Pakistan an equal to India , Right?

(U) people have totally lost faith in there capability to matching India's at its side and fear being exploited ...what are (u) afraid of?

Typical hypocrisy. (these are the same people who think Pakistan is so much better but ur true understandings emerge here)

If (u) guys are better than India then y the reluctance and negative rhetoric? Are u not sure u can counter Indias every maneuver?

I guess Pakistanis will never be wise enough to understand Foreign diplomacy and ill continue to be suckers and an eternal satellite to nations looking for a favor.

I guess India should leave Pakistan be, let them reflect some more , for the conclusion will eventually be the same with India and Pakistan being allies.

The smart/wise ones learn early the imbeciles take there sweet time.. eventually both come to the same conclusion......But at what cost?

It's actually very interesting.

Pakistanis can talk to the taliban and let them have Swat and what not but they will not talk to Indians and keep what they have and let Indians keep when they have.

Pakistan's greed is the root cause of all the issues.

India will need to settle territorial disputes, anything just and fair would do, but the problem lies with Indian population, that they are so exalted into Pakistan-phobia that they will not accept anything that may look compromising. Without solving territorial disputes friendly relations are difficult to maintain, and India has disputes with everyone in the region !

Mate, Its not the Pakistani flags being burnt in India on a regular basis.. Mostly its the other way around..

There is no fiction, as grown ups we have to mellow down and stop considering fighting as a solution to everything. We are telling the world the same thing that we need a peaceful solution to our imposed war in the tribal regions. The fighting will beget more fighting. Of course it takes two to tango, ya taali doh haath se bajti hai. It won't go anywhere if India doesn't abandon fighting Pakistan at the same time.

The trying India as a friend isn't a one off event where we declare, "Aa jhapi pa le", its more of a mentality. Aren't you sick of fighting India? How can you justify enmity with India and not justify enmity with your own corrupt and vile leaders. Friendship with India can in some ways just be non-hostility towards India.

We need to do it and India needs it as well. Its not going to be an Earth shattering thing, but it will enable us to straighten up ourselves and who knows what we become from there on, we go on to influencing the entire world positively including India.

Sorry in current situation where India has unleashed a war on Pakistan on all fronts and damaging us there cant be any such consideration to accept a staunch enemy as our friend.

some people can sell the flawed notion for monitory gains but everyone cant buy the trash

BTW Pakistan always opted for TALKS with bharat but its you Bharat who had been refusing talks and only comes to table when US pressurise you

as if India had ever respected even International Borders?

lolzz sorry Kashmir is a country occupied by India and its LoC not IB it can never be unless India holds referendum under neutral international bodies and if Kashmiris joined India then we will accept it as IB otherwise NOT
