Following Indian objections, Sri Lanka not to let Chinese submarines to dock in its ports!

India is tie together by English language and gov and culture such as cricket. Without the British, India won't be a country today. Just look at India before British arrival... It was in lots of small pieces..
I think Your Knowledge of India Is Pathetic.Same can Also be Said in Case of USA Before Abraham Lincoln. Civil War Was Living Example of It When Colonial Land Lords Clashed with Each other for Supremacy:lol::lol::lol:

Just look at India way before the Islamic invasion. We were united many a times in the past and when we were not we were conquered, never will that mistake happen again.

There were many empires in the Indian subcontinent in the past. But they don't represent India. India was and has been a civilization. But never a country until the Brits created it.

India is together today, because Indians choose to be together. Before independence over 550+ princely states had the option of being independent, they choose to join the union because of leaders like Sardar Patel.

Nope. I'm American. Not Chinese.

Chinese, everyone knows. That line you made was the same as the one you made in the other account. @faithfulguy

You have demonstrated enough times that you are not American, with the shitty grammar that you use. No native English speaker would write in the way you do, which itself is a giveaway. Members have also pointed out the curious coincidence of you joining the forum on the same day that "faithfulguy" left. Not to mention the fact that you are following that troll's modus operandi of coming to every Indian thread and arguing stupidly about whether India is a country or not. And your penchant for railing against some comedic racist video all the time, just like faithfulguy.

Now please don't derail the thread with yet another idiotic "India is not a country" argument.

Indian members: Don't let him derail yet another thread. Ignore him.

Yeah I agree with that. Country is a relatively a modern term and India as a country was created with the help of the British. But India was indeed unified at various times in history sometimes by our own people sometimes by invaders. But saying British created a unified India is not right. May be the republic of India would make some sense and that too is a result of both British and Indian minds. Even before the British was ready to give us independence our resistance was for a freedom of whole of India not just small states. So India was created by Indians for Indians with the help of the British.

A lot of people, including @mike2000, mentioned that India was created by Britain. Only Indians would deny this fact. Before you guys progress, you need to accept who you are.

Britain created the geography of modern India, but it's civilization is 1000s of years old.

And it wasn't British doing that kept most of the princely states together after independence, they had the option of splitting in 100s and 100s of countries. They joined the union due to people and founders like Sardar Patel, this isnt British doing, but Indian.

Let me break it down for you in simple terms...

You are ethnically Chinese, but choose to be called American...because its your choice and you choose to pledge your allegiance to the US

Similarly, during Indian Independence, the princely states chose to be a part of the union of India, the British did not in any way, shape or form put a gun to their head, nor coerce what are the states of India to be part of India...so it is the inherent sense of "Indian-ness" that made them part of this country...
The British could colonize but not Indianize India...that already existed for millenia!

Now please quit giving us useless lectures on our identity....the Indian identity is stronger than that of any other nation..I can attest to that and you being an outsider looking in have zero clue about it!
