Following Indian objections, Sri Lanka not to let Chinese submarines to dock in its ports!

Thanks for pushing PLAN to replace electric sub to Gulf of Aden with SSN :D

Last I heard, your nuke subs never leave the harbour :P ........ so really, no worries there.

Entire South Asia including India should do the same and that's my point. It's not like India is a conflict-free nation.

Why not just focus on SL and leave the rest to us ? its not like we value your advice. :coffee:

Chinese Submarines Taste Indian Ocean

In the past, reports about the presence of Chinese submarines in the Indian Ocean have been announced in the media. For instance, the Indian media reported that a type-093 attack nuclear submarine was on deployment (December 2013 to February 2014) in the Indian Ocean and that the Chinese Ministry of National Defense (Foreign Affairs Office) had informed the Indian military attaché in Beijing of the submarine deployment to show ‘respect for India’. Apparently, the information of the deployment was also with the United States, Singapore, Indonesia, Pakistan and Russia.

That's why we are building the largest naval base in Pakistan's history. Chinese subs can sail for 10,000km without refueling, which is more than enough for them to rotate from Gwadar directly.

Another example of getting laid, the Americans paid and used Pakistan for their benefits...now its the turn of the Chinese. The analogy will hurt, but it looks like Pakistan is acting like a ...... without any self respect ...pay us well and we will do anything you wants us to do.

Submarines were not aimed at India, they were aimed at Japan. I don't think China considers India to be worthy of competition to be honest.

What kind of Idiotic regime, invites a nation's prime minister and Nuclear submarines of its enemy /rival to its port at the same time?

If indeed Nuclear sub incident was aimed at Japan, then it is like, Srilanka was desperately trying to insult visiting Japanese dignitaries...or it had been reduced to the level of a client state by Chinese, had no say in its foreign policy.

Why are you asking me? I don't know anything about it and I don't support the government's decision.

LOL. You do realize that it was so noisy that Indian Navy picked it up  ........... instead of being ashamed and embarrassed about this piece of noisy junk, you are boasting about it. :P

You are the one trying to stick your nose into SL not the other way around. :)

If looks like more you are embarrassed by your ignorant of Chinese military development.

If our foreign minister never inform India side. I can bet you will still think Chinese nuclear sub never sail out of Chinese water :D

LOL. Then your ministry must be more stupid than we give them credited for :P ....... first you send the sub and then inform us about it ?

Thats a great post.

Friendly navies do berth in a country's docks.

But suggesting a permanent berth shows weakness, lack of confidence in it forces, lack of sense of sovereignty, lacking of a plan and most importantly fear.

All that has already happened, nothing new...renting out to US and allied troops and planes, renting out a base for Saudi princes for their hunting trips...renting out regions for the taliban..

Let me get this straight - you, being convinced that your navy can never fight us, are hoping that a big, benevolent daddy will fight for you. You are hoping for something that would never happen, and it's me that is desperate? What can be more desparate than knowing your armed forces are useless, and that you will need foreigners to fight your wars for you?

Do I sound like I'm desparate? I'm enjoying the slow death of Pakistan's dreams. In the 60s it used to be that one mard-e-momin Pakistani soldier can kill ten kafir Indians. Then the dream was that although your armed forces can't fight, they can outsource the job to lashkars and mujahideens, who will be protected by Allah's power. Now that even that strategy failed, your dream is that big daddy China would come like a knight in shining armour and fight India for you. When the reality is that China doesn't even resort to war against India for its own territorial disputes.

Dream away, dear - dreams are free. Pray that the Ummah brothers or taller than oceans friends will save your *** next time. I'm reclining and smiling in contemplation of the deterioration of Pakistani dreams over the decades, while India has grown from strength to strength, and her ambitions have kept increasing.

You're the man Dude... Well said

Not because of "India's concerns", the new government is trying to balance relations with the world. In the upcoming days Asia-pacific will most probably be the most important region in the world. We have to strike a balance between countries like US, China, Japan and India up to some degree. Indian media for some reason always twists foreign affairs of other countries into presenting itself as some great power.

The submarine incident was uncalled for to be honest considering that they arrived at the same time Japanese PM came to SL.

I posted a thread for the exact same reason.

Sri Lanka's foreign policy 'back to centre': Samaraweera

Indian media like to portrait itself as a superpower because that is what
Indian mass demands. Anything less is insufficient. As a result, Indian gov would do things for propaganda purposes than doing what is right for India to grow as a country. Until they solve this self deception, India will continue to be a joke in the eyes of the world.

I Think You are Forgetting that Indian Continuously growing As Country Since 68 years Without As Halt And Still Running Successful Democracy in Most Diverse Communities In Living World.

India is tie together by English language and gov and culture such as cricket. Without the British, India won't be a country today. Just look at India before British arrival... It was in lots of small pieces..
