Flying Into Dhaka- First Impressions of Bangladesh

Islamad was built using BD money mostly.
Do you not have any shame to use Islamabad
as an example?

Its been 47 years since we stopped looting your money, while Islamabad keep getting bigger and more advanced Dhaka is keep getting worst...show us the pictures of Dhaks before 71, It was cosideredthe most beautiful city of Pakistan back then...have some shame, Hasina can only feed to lies to hide her corruption and incompetence.

Why don't you bengalis just show us some nice Dhaka photos or videos to prove that the city doesn't look as bad as assumed by most foreigners. It will be great to see some nice shots of Dhaka and the country.

Those loot fueled many project even after separation. One such project was Tarbela dam.Whose finance was secured during 1960s and completed after 1971.Bangladesh accepted half of pre-1971 foreign debt but Pakistan didn't gave any undivided asset as per stipulation. That means, half of the cost of Tarbela dam was bore by Bangladesh. In 1971,a group of economist calculated that West Pakistan looted 2,600 million pound starling during the period of 1947-1971 by various method from East Bengal. Now imagine the value of than 2,600 million pound in current exchange rate. Those looted money done a lot of work even after 1971.Showpiece Islamabad project was not escaped from that momentum either.

There are two types of Pakistanis on this forum:

1. Nice ones who accept that Pakistan looted BD and are sorry about this.
2. Nasty ones where Pakistan was a saint and BD people are all liars.

LOL, I don't know where you get your facts from but I'll give you a simple one, since 1971 more than 20 million illegal Bangalis have transferred more than (20,000,000*46 years*12 months * BPS 100/month) = BPS 1,104,000,000,000 to Bangladesh, this is real theft and loot, not contributing in national projects when you are part of a country.

We just do not like Pakistanis trying to deny the looting.
They have no money to give anyway and BD economy is stronger than Pakistan now.

Situation with UK was different as they were colonizing sub-continent, and not an equal party
like Pakistan and BD was supposed to be.

the looting was more indirect in the sense the West Pakistani elite took care of themselves. They signed Indus river water treaty while they did nothing on Ganges. They signed off on SEATO membership and took the $$$. Of course they invested nothing to defend East Pakistan.

Massive fiscal transfers also happened between East and West Pakistan.
Just Google and this will be proven by neutral sources.

I believe you. those losses can be quantified.
the ones I described are hard to quantify

No, we don't.Pakistan have neither the capability nor Bangladesh in any such a condition that will require any financial help/reparation from a country like Pakistan. We only mention it, when they make bad joke about Jute, forgetting that, that particular commodity earned two-third of valuable foreign currencies for entire Pakistan in 1950s and 1960s when they had little opportunity to export anything else.

ehhhh a thread about dhaka the capital of bd turned against Pakistann ahh nvm
btw why the capital looks so deserted?
