perhaps there is an issue of perception on both sides.
Granted that Rig Veda mentions Indus river 30 times while Ganga only twice.
But later vedic literature speaks of northern Punjab, Sindh and eastern Rajasthan as the land of Malechas. And guess what, all these areas are part of Indus valley.
So the bottom line is simple!, there were no large scale population of Hindus in Indus Valley compared to Ganga Valley.
Ganga Valley for Hinduism
Indus valley for those who did not follow Hinduism. hence no mega-mundir on Indus river system. just the small ones.
