are we ordering any more after the first 6
well, if the IAF comes out impressed with the prformance of the C-130J it is very likely that further orders will follow. and also as the rest of the transport fleet grows old, there will be further demand for good equipment to replace it. As Russia has nothing new to offer on the shelf at the moment and the Europen A-400 has not reached full operational capability, in all likelyhood more C-130J's are likely to follow.
Ah now I get what you meant, I checked the designations of IL 76 and AN 32 and they also starts with "K".

thank jha ji^^^ Thanks sudhir..i had forgotten the price...its actually ~200 mil....
What a waste of money...these should be capped at 6 only..instead we should order An-70 ...These are comparatively new designs and even Germany was interested in this when A-400 was in trouble..
Or, even a better option is to fast track the MRTA program...

Mh, then it will remain a secret of IAF I guess.
A-400M is good no doubt about that but its not fully ready yet and already ordered in large number by European countries so it would take time, while IAF desperately need such aircraft for special operations.
are we ordering any more after the first 6
