Seemed a bit odd to me too. Unless the schoolbus was full of older kids too...but I don't they mix older kids with first graders.

Not surprisingly, the father has been shown to be a liar. A pathetic liar, who used his own child to play up his own prejudice. US schools pay attention to issues such as bullying, regardless of any other considerations, fairly for all students.
