May be it would be called HF-Tejas , where HF stands for Hindustan Fighter
It is naming code for HAL produce planes
just like HTT stands Hindustan Turbo-Propeller Trainer.

Because ADA takes 30 years to build this by this logic its name should be HF-31 TEJAS MK1 because its FOC sheduled in 2014 last so its take 31 year time

I'm sure this name will make Texas proud. In English speaking world, the "j" in "Tejas" would sound like "h". So the word is pronounce as Tehas. I'm not sure if this is how Indians pronounce this word. If not, you guys better change the word or the spelling of it.. Otherwise, this would be known as the Texas fighter through out the western world.
