General Raheel Sharif can’t become President until the next Presidential elections, which is 2023.

General Raheel would make an excellent President. He has shown that he is capable of taking the nation in the right direction. A President doesn’t have to be a politician, he/she can be anyone, preferably someone who has a history of excellent public service.

.
you people want a woman president just for the sake of them being women.
here is a hadith on the subject
“No people who appoint a woman as their leader will ever prosper.” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 13/53).

What you said is true but he also joined Saudi Based job immediately after retiring. In these Organization there is usually a term of 3 years where you can not join other jobs. I know there is this bar on OGRA chairman to join oil and gas companies immediately after retiring. Nevertheless, if there is no bar even than a Pakistani army chief should not go abroad for a job.

But the same appointed Hazrat Aisha (RA) as their leader!!!!

.
how about we refrain from something not aĺlowed in our religion, which is making women rulers of a nation.
especially if imran wants to have a state like how madina was.
stop misquoting Islam, and introducing your own stupid ideas into this beautiful religion.
and before you start a long discussion on this, I'll answer everything before
Quran does not anywhere ban females from a head of state, in fact you can find the Quran telling us about the wisdom of Queen of Sheba.
The only thing mullahs use to justify themselves in a Hadith, which itself is disputed due to being related by a Sahabi who was lashed 80 times for being a false witness during the Caliphate of Hazrat Umar (R.A). And we all know that false witnesses cannot be counted upon.

The Constitution of Pakistan vests the President the powers of granting pardons, reprieves, and the control of the military; however, all appointments at higher commands of the military must be made by the President on a "required and necessary" basis, upon consultation and approval from the Prime Minister. In addition, the constitution prohibits the President from exercising the authority of running the government.
So, basically President is the head of state (a ceremonial post) and PM is to run the government.

General Raheel requested a NRO and was granted one, infact IMCTC and Saudi government approached our government and asked for his appointment.

I agree that our military leaders should not work abroad however General Raheel’s case is somewhat different. He is heading an organisation similar to a small version of NATO. The chief of both organisations are Army Generals.
