First-ever prepaid metre production starts next month

When UK is continuously progressing with new fighter jet planes BD is fighting to collect dimes to buy the oldie and outdated F-7s. It must be our fate that we are not bestowed with many meritorious people like you are proving here.

Well we do still have technical edge over you guys, after all.

It will really help BD if some of your guys introduce the dishwashing technology that our eateries will accept promptly. After all, the UK has quite a technical edge on this. The UK is the best country where many of our people do regular dishwashing. How about thinking in this line being an expert?

I dont understand why any one is questioning this.

In BD no one pays their bill, there is corruption regarding the actual sourcing of utilities etc. In this regard pre-paid meters will ensure higher revenue collection in BD.

I think it is a good thing. Britain had similar issues with people not paying their bills obtaining dodgy electricity and gas connections particularly in the urban slam areas.

In the 50's slums were knocked down and a massive public sector lead house building initiative took place. The new houses/flats were installed with prepaid meters. It allowed for control, planning of utilities and also made it easy to identify theft.

For BD it will be the same. Prepaid meters will bring control where there is none.

BD could easily have introduced smart meters.... but the purpose here is get people to pay and not energy efficiency. BD could have combined both and introduced smart prepaid meters but although there has been a great proliferation of mobile phones the utility companies rightly catered for the lowest common denominator. Simply pay for tokens or whatever at shop counter. Utility companies is then guaranteed their revenue.
