While the first operationnal pilots arrived in Egypt, on the 21st of july 2015 with the first three Rafale twin seaters (DM01 / DM02 / DM03), Dassault aviation is producing the next planes to be delivered.

The fourth Rafale to be received by the Egyptian Air Force (Al-Qūwāt al-Gawwīyä al-Miṣrīyä) will be the first single seater, code EM01, for Egypt.

The plane seen here fresh off the Dassault Aviation assembly line in Bordeaux-Merignac, on the 1st of july 2016, will perform a few flights in Bordeaux before heading to Istres Air Force Base, where more tests will be conducted, and where the Egyptian markings will be painted on.

A precise date for the delivery of the aircraft to the Egyptian Air Force has not yet been released, but according to our information, it should be early 2017.

Technically it would be the 7th, Vergennes. Except that 3 are to be sent back eventually.
In any case, one can imagine Egyptian pilots to be edging and elbowing each other out
in order to be the first to have a Raffy all for himself, without a pesky passeng.. er NSO!

Congratulations to our Egyptian brothers, sisters and neighbors. I am sure that they will serve Egypt well and by extension the Arab world IF needed. It is fair to say that most Arabs are hopeful that the Arab League's announcement of the Joint Arab Military Force last year will come to fruition soon as it is the need of the hour.

Complex schedule to follow, Mica my friend! The first 3 that you got were destined to the
AdlA and pulled off its deliveries schedule.

Those 3 are to be reverted later but that now also depends on the re-organizing the line in
Mérignac for augmented output. Depending on when/if the Indians sign, 3 ACs will then be
taken out of your order later to make up for it.
Mind you, this will probably not mean returning any physical plane but just playing around
with data on paper and yet, officially, you got 3 of our planes and we need 'em back eventually!

OK OK i thought your were talking about indian air force while you were talking about israeli air force but if you talk about how will it be israeli F35 against egypt rafales well the same as dirrence between F-7 and Mig35 ... got it

OK OK i thought your were talking about indian air force while you were talking about israeli air force but if you talk about how will it be israeli F35 against egypt rafales well the same as dirrence between F-7 and Mig35 ... got it
