Su-35S is old in compare, F15X looks far better. I'm more interested in F-15SA vs Su-35S until someone really buy F15X, maybe Israel would be first. Russia needs to upgrade its flankers as well.

The Flanker is not older in compare in any way. The Flanker is a 1985 model with the more advanced 4th gen post swing wing design. The F-15 still has that early 4th gen era look with the square intakes similar to the Mig 31.

And the su 35s is the most updated and advanced model. It has 5th gen avionics , 3D TVC and supercruise. It made its first flight in 2008

you're right. The F-22 has an air intake design similar to the Su-35, which underneath the abdomen

YF-23 was a demonstrator like YF-22 and Su-47 and MiG 1.44 and X-32 and X-35. It was never a production plane. Years of development work would have been required for that. Su-35 and Su-57 are not demonstrators. They are serial production planes.

Dogfights are secondary these days, avionics are old for Su-35S in compare to western's. US has started using IRST, F-15 is far more stealthy, Su-35S still uses PESA radar, AAMs seems better for US. Even 2040C looks comparable or better, however its too costly in compare.
