Netball is, Sri Lanka are Asian Champions and have played in world cups bar 1 or 2 if i'm not mistaken.. Thats because they have long established pedigree in Netball, Sri Lanka is quite unique in South Asia when it comes to Sporting culture, Sports like Rugby and Netball are very popular like rest of the commonwealth but almost unheard of in the rest of the sub continent

With increase in nutrition and better access to other supplements each new generation seems to be getting taller and bigger, It's quite evident.. Comparatively to the rest of the region Sri Lankans arnt doing that bad

Indonesia will host FIBA Asia 2021 together with Singapore in August next year, inshaAllah. I dont know whether Singapore is eligible to play in the competition since their team is not even inside the qualifying round.

This will likely become the stadium for FIBA Asia 2021. Jakarta has 3 good basketball stadium:

Britama Stadium (Satria Muda professional club home base)

Philippine use their amateur team in the second window since their PBA team is still playing in their professional league. Philippine protested FIBA when they know they are going to play against Indonesia after South Kore cancelled the second window game. The game between Indonesia vs Philippine is cancelled and moved to previous plan in February where they can use their PBA team.

LOL Philippine is afraid against Indonesian team.

We just play one time against Thailand in Bahrain because of that and then must go back to Indonesia.

Schedule confirmed for FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers November window


BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The game schedule has been confirmed for the upcoming window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers.

Taking place between November 27 and 30, the games will be played in protected environment tournaments (bubbles) in order to ensure the health and safety of all participants.

Games of Groups A and D will be played in Bahrain and games of Group E will be played in Doha, Qatar.

Games of groups B, C and F and of the Korea national team will not be played during this November window.

The next and final window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers will take place from 18-22 February 2021. The top two teams in the standings of each of the six groups at the end of the Qualifiers will qualify directly for FIBA Asia Cup 2021. The third-placed teams in each group will then proceed to play in a separate tournament to determine the remaining four teams that will complete the 16-team field of FIBA Asia Cup 2021.

The decision to play both the November and February windows in bubbles, instead of home and away games, was taken by the FIBA Executive Committee in September. FIBA will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and communicate any further updates regarding its competitions if necessary.

Pakistan has potency in Basketball since many Pakistani are tall. The problem I think more on professional competition that was not as good as other part of Asia. I also have checked Youtube and I dont find any international game played by Pakistani team, it seems your team doesnt have many international experience.

No Pakistan or Bangladesh, the 4th and 5th most populated nations in Asia.. I'm sure there has be some competitive basketball being played there
