This acid was recovered by FC from Panjgoor from terrorists of BLF. It is being used for making bombs and for attacks on FC and blowing up of Gas pipelines.

It must be noted that PTA is used as an agent in grenades and other military applications.

Manufacturer | MCC PTA India Corp. Private Limited

  • FC Camouflage used for kidnappings and then blaming them on FC were found.
  • FN-FAL rifles were found. We all know who has been the user of FN-FAL rifles and has them in stock in this region.

The only military use of PTA is in smoke grenades and about 30 Million tonnes of it are produced around the world.

Terephthalic acid is the organic compound with formula C6H4(COOH)2. This colourless solid is a commodity chemical, used principally as a precursor to the polyester PET, used to make clothing and plastic bottles. Several million tonnes are produced annually.

And the funniest thing, India legally exports Terephthalic acid to Pakistan! :woot:

India to start exporting petro products to Pakistan - Economic Times

India had exported some petrochemicals such as purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and lube oil base stock (LOBS) to Pakistan through the sea route. Later, former oil minister Murli Deora also proposed to export PTA from Indian Oil Corp's Panipat refinery to Pakistan through land route via Wagah border. But proposals remained on paper due to political tensions, especially after the Mumbai attack.

0/10 for Propaganda.

* 3 years ago.
* PTA has military applications other than 'smoke grenades'
* There is no mention of the company that provided PTA to any Pakistani user.

W
hat more ?

Acids are used as an agent to create different chemical reactions. Can be used to create an explosive device or help create one.

That matters is that it was found in the possession of the terrorists.

Try Yahoo too

Once you use Bing. :)

The key here is who had the possession of this material, rather than what the material is.
You can use a car to drive your kids to school or use it to blow up a school. It matters who's using this particular agent.
