I don’t blame him. He is an asset to PTI and I am sure he will come back.

Don’t need to be a rocket scientist on why he has done what he has done.

Hope the people who illegally blackmailed him face divine justice.

Listen, it's quite easy and comfortable for you to say all of the above sitting in the relative safety of the west. The ones on the ground in Pakistan do not have this luxury.

So spare the members this talk of "backbone", "legs spread" etc. etc. I'd like to see you take a trip to Pakistan right now and demonstrate in front of the parliament and then let us know how "disgraceful" our people are.

For all those sitting in the comfort of their chairs and asking "others" to make sacrifices, please don't! You don't know what these people (civilian and khaki) and their families are going through right now and you would not put yourself and your kin at risk either.

At the least, don't incite and egg people on the basis of "ghairat" and other nonsense.

Good points.

Needs to be organised in secret / underground....grass roots level.

Take your time with it. Don't be reactive.

This is what the IHC judge said today:

'At the outset of the hearing, Justice Aurangzeb said, “They will not let you go until you hold a press conference”.'

Should tell you all you need to know about the state of affairs in this country.

Expat Pakistanis are often the worst. Wishing destruction in Pakistan based on grandiose ideas which never take roots in the Subcontinent. They sit in comfort in Western countries, coming up with grand ideas. There was NEVER going to be a revolution or Haqeeqi Azadi through PTI. Look at who sits on top in that party and look at who switched loyalties to join that party? Does it look like a bunch of revolutionaries??

Mine and the hopes of millions was that PTI would be another party led by Pakistan's version of Erdogan: Efficient, cleaner governance after decades of misrule. But that didn't happen. Even that didn't happen.

The path forward for Pakistan is ten-years of stability under a government of Technocrats. Pakistan is in serious problems right now. The old ways will not work anymore. No more conflicts. No more talk of revolutions. Ten years. Pakistan can still turn around. I have faith.

Sorry to say, but economists worth their salt who are close friends of mine and, study South Asia & East Asian economies, and are employed by universities, brokerage houses, and family office(s) say even with a technocratic government in place, the country is at a point of no return economically. What's going to strangle Pakistan is the geopolitics of the region.

The Army is winning the battle.

They thought the same on 26th March 1971.

People who reside within the current nation state of Pakistan will eventually triumph.

Unfortunately it wouldn't be as Pakistanis but it will be Pukhtuns first and then the rest will follow.

The institution will be remembered as a mercenary army that took hostage of a country. To get rid of the cholk of the institution, they will leave people no choice but to leave the federation as a whole.

I think most will. Shireen Mazari might actually be too old. Fayaz Chohan won't come because he has other problems. Fawad Ch et all will probably.
Even Fayyaz Chohan.

We don't know what was shown to them or how were these people threatened.

In my country sadly, beghairti has no limits. So I can expect anything. Remember Azam Sawati... He was able to get through because his video was with his own wife.. what if someone threatens to rape the children or wife in front of his own eyes? You can expect anything from current regime led by video maharani.
