Favourite and fastest drummer ?

Well as we have seen a thread related to guitarist so decided to start a thread relating to drummers as i could see there are many heavy metal addicted members on this forum like me.So who is your favourite drummer and who you think is the fastest drummer.


Let me start by myself.

My favourite drummers are danny carey(TOOL) and john boecklin(devildriver).And in my view john boecklin is the fastest drummer.

Keith Moon. He set the standard for all that followed (including Bonham) and put to shame all before. There were, btw, some remarkable jazz drummers as well-Buddy Rich, Gene Krupka, Tony Williams, Billy Cobham, and Lenny White come to mind off-hand.
