I came across a thread recently which presented a few cracks people had in how many daughters the Prophet had. I wanted to present a few points which can be researched so that a smooth idea can be formed. the following is an addition what I hoped to say in the earlier forum which was closed.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please excuse any inaccuracies that you may find in the following paragraph and if you do please highlight it and present a trusted source so that I may may rightly corrected. I have tried to only list accurate information.

I would urge you people to look at Eid al-Mubahila. Look at the event, and see who Mohammad chose as the representatives of Islam. Therefore it is easy to see how its possible to rely upon one daughter more than others for Islam, especially since this very daughter was chosen to represent Islam in the Mobahila.

As for those who are confused whether Fatima was his only daughter I urge you too look at these facts. It is well known that Fatima cared dearly for Mohammad, and that she was someone he refers to many times as a supporter and someone who's backing was a of great support, and the other girls in question don't come up very often, though they are also respected. I am sure if these girls were the biological daughters of Mohammad he would have mentioned them more from when they were very young. Now the biggest thorn in the way of expressing that Mohammad had four daughters and that Fatima was not the eldest of his daughters is that Bibi Fatima was the only person to request her right to inherit the property of the Prophet, I have seen no mention of another daughter that came forth to request the right of inheritance to be practiced.

Please keep this clean, and research what I have said before you contradict it. If you are smart and would like to contribute please state your sources.

Hello
In the other thread nobody call the others cracks. Wat is eid al- mubahala?
If u had gone through the thread or know the islamic history u would know that all daughters of the Prophe PBUH died before him so how they would show up after the death of the Prophet? and there was no inheritence.
A brother in that thread presented a verse from the quran which stated the Prophet PBUH had more then one daughter.

Try to calm ur self

I guess this thread should be closed just like the one before

Most of us have hundreds of pretty obvious deficiencies which we know about. If we care about God, the Prophet and his family then perhaps we should try to follow the example they have set for us and work on addressing these deficiencies. That should be the priority.

Some historians make the case that the Prophet had only one daughter, Bibi Fatima, while others claim he had several. In the final analysis, it is really not important because it is a matter of personal belief, and even then, it does nothing to *improve* you as a human being.

Let's not get into these issues since they are not the priority. The priority, as I've said, is how we improve ourselves. So say everyone agrees that the Prophet only had one daughter, or vice versa. Will that suddenly make us better human beings? Probably not. Then why spend time in public debate re these issues. We should all study history and come to our own conclusions. There is no penalty for using one's God-given gift of mind.
