I don’t think it makes much sense using this sub in PG where the average depth is 50 meters and max depth is 90 meters.

This sub would be better off in the Oman and Arabian Sea or protecting the entrance to the PG.
This sub is a 600ton small sub and can very well operate I Persian Gulf

Of course it can but with all the Ghadir subs we already have it would be absurd to use it for area's inside the Persian Gulf passed the Hormoz straight and into the Persian Gulf.

I would say they have specifically built the Fateh class to cover areas between Bandar Jask out and according to Iranian Naval official they plan on producing a few of these Fateh class subs in the coming years.
