It's about time! Great job Navy and the Naval industries organization!!!! Hopefully Iran's next class of Submarines in the future will be a force multiplier hopefully designed from the inside out that's specifically made for deep sea missions

It takes 4 years for company like Ford or Mercedes to build a commercial car from concept to mass production. I'd say it is a very good time for building a submarine class that has never been built in Iran before

All depends on next line. If it takes 4 years to build a Fateh then it would take 40 years to build 10 Fateh.

Thus Iran needs to strive for at least 2 every 4 years, thus it will hit 10 Fateh in 20 years.

4 year is for Design Developments which is the most time consuming part. When it is designed manufacturing can happen way faster. 2 every 4 years shouldn't be an issue.

Not necessarily,the boat first went into the water back in 2015,so the last 4 odd years were spent shaking it down and perfecting the design not only of the boat and its assorted systems,but very likely improving the quality of its quietening and sound reduction systems,as a lot of that can really only be done with the boat completed and in the water.I would think that with all of the likely lessons learned that any newly constructed boats could shave a lot of time off of that 4 year shake down period in future.
Plus if you built 2 boats side by side at the same time,that would also cut down construction times considerably.

A sub fleet of about 50+ deep water subs is more valuable than squadrons of fifth gen fighters and dozens of frigates.

Maneuvering Hypersonic missiles will change warfare in the future and subs are UNDERWATER. Jet fighters and frigates are on the surface.

the second submarine is almost complete its visible in the videos that were released, by its code Fateh 961, and they began the construction of third and fourth submarines , according to the navy commander.
