pm Pakistanis are seeing their version of the bloody 90s in KP and FATA and to a lesser extent in B'stan and Karachi. Can it get worst? Yes. Should it get worst? absolutely not. Should there be another 90s in Karachi? Hell no.

Are you from the city? Our compatriots up north don't know what happened while we were growing up. They'd be more sympathetic if they did.

im, all killing without justice is wrong. But that one day was nothing compared to the systematic, prolonged killings of that deade. You know of that day in May 2007 because came on television. Everyday more people than 42 die in 'target killings' in that city, only this time you don't see them on TV, they're just a number.

To get the idea of what I'm saying, compare that on-camera shooting of the teen by Sindh rangers to the numerous other such killings in the country that went not unreported but unrecorded on cam. The papers report that a homeless man was shot by the police in Lahore the same or the next day, but that didn't elicit the same reaction did it? I'm sure several people have been liquidated in B'stan since or even on that day, but it doesn't move you since a bodycount cannot have the same impact as a live death.

correct they are going through the worst times possible , infact KPK is 100 times bloodier than 90's karachi ... the pushtuns of KPK were the only residents in karachi those days almost all major industrialists & most ethnicities included mohajirs migrated either to punjab and those who could afford the west. However these 2 scenarios cant be compared as 90's karachi that was a drama , where as in KPK same estabilishment is responsible however in that case its stupidity.

Munnay, do u know, in karachi 70-90% people supports MQM, so u should know as well that MQM is the awami party of karachi!

I dont know why people do not accept the reality that MQM holds 70% to 80% of Karachi, there are very few areas having majority of others.

This time MQM seems to be rigid on its separation decision. Lets have a bet on this, I say MQM will not rejoin govt.
