F-6 is a dual engine aircraft, in fact, it is the wreckage of their own Mig-21 with IAF serial number still visible.

also regarding the paint, that job is usually done by contract through MES the military engineering services and that is a moot point.

But indeed hilarious to note that own tail number with what is apparently own aircraft!!!


There is no doubt that the PAF had the upper edge in 1965. One should not and can not argue to that fact.

However, one also needs to understand that the higher figures for IAF losses in 1965 also, was due to the propensity to conduct day time raids due to limited platforms for night flying and frankly, poorly trained pilots in comparison to PAF, which had the advantage of multi-national exposure and also did commendable job in various theatres of war on behalf of the Arab League and a small example of Canberra bombers with PAF, which had all weather capability by upgradation in 1963 itself.

Anyways this is indeed funny, and frankly, am not surprised. Incompetence is rampant. India managed to win wars only thanks to greater incompetence of Pakistan and not due to own brilliance.

Well to be honest neither was PA comparable in brilliance lets say to that of the Third Reich nor possessed intellectual military geniuses the likes of Eric Von Manstien or Erwin Rommel and neither was IA comparable to the Red Army nor possessed the military geniuses the likes of Georgy Zhukov, comparing to such excellence powers in their ability of communications, controls, military maneuvers and masterstroke military tactics is really an unfair comparison specially for the states that were only 18 years old at the time, essentially two teenagers fighting and pretending to be men at war while the real Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson would have easily knocked out the opposition with ease had they been involved.

Having said that there were seeds of brilliance here and there, Pakistan's ability to defend itself against quantitatively a much larger force or India opening multiple fronts and catching the opponent completely by surprise but still not comparable to the David and Goliath although a possibility of reaching those levels is certainly there, and yeah it did satisfied my query.

It is because those desplayed remains are painted over the time, and that might be the reason for the wrong marking, as due to ageing and time, those will started getting rusted, and since this is been displayed on the front gate of some millitary installation, those could not be displayed with rusty features.

You can guage the idiocy level by the fact that technically the International Boundary was violated by Pakistan with the southern flank of attack towards Chambh (If one gets into the technicality of the boundary between the two nations after the signing of Karachi Agreement of 1949 and demarcation of Ceasefire Line called as LOC post Shimla Agreement) in 1965, yet till date Indians have never ever highlighted this point either domestically nor internationally and nor ever realised this point, allowing Pakistan to change the narrative to, as you have stated above, that of 'defending' against a bigger enemy, conviniently sweeping away the grand failure in achieving their objectives in the first place, being the initiating belligerent nation of the conflict.

It is a travesty of facts and unfortunately, both nations remain embroiled in it.
