Gentlemen
Do you have any information on Pakistani fighter pilot, F/O G H K (I H K?) Agha, service number 3406? He was killed on 12 October 1950, I presume in a fatal crash. All I have on him, is that he served on 9 Squadron in 1949. I am especially after his full name.
Best regards
Franek

how do you know him??

@Oscar @Bilal Khan 777 @fatman17 can you help this gentleman

Over the years I have managed to obtain some information about RPAF pilots, but it is far from exhaustive.

It seems the man was F/O Imtiaz Hussain Khan Agha. Does anyone know anything more about him?

PAF owes a lot of debt to Polish officers who helped it in its early years. This must be one of those old connections

Indeed polish officers did help us a lot after ww2.
Thank u poland :)

R u polish intelligence??? Hehe
No, but I often get that question! :enjoy:
Yes, the man was tied with the Polish airmen, he served with few of the Poles on 9 Sqn. I am trying to find as much information on the RPAF as possible, as otherwise the story of the Polish airmen would end up in a simple table listing them and their postings. There is preciously little info on the RPAF in the period, so I am after just anything.

Thanks. Unfortunately, Pakistani books are not easy to obtain in Europe. I am also aware of memories of Zafar Chaudhry and Kamal Ahmad. Any others?

Check the PAF official website and also that of the PAF Mueseum. The PAF Mueseum has monument for Polish officers who supported PAF in its Pioneer years. I not sure who maintains the PAF archive.

I was there back in 2014. I have seen some photos and old journals, but overall there was not much on the period. Sadly, it seems the early period of Pakistan Air Force is a bit neglected in general. No glamour!
