Anyways we are not even offered F35s and with S400 they are out of question. But F35s at defexpo would be the centre of attention.

Pakistan is a F16 user, next logical step is F-35. Pakistan should start bugging US for F-35s already. Unless India purchase Sh!t ton of F-21 or something for billion n billions. F-35 is not going there.

PAF is not getting F35s anytime soon regardless of how much it bugs the US. PAF knows this - hence project Azm!

Most tech savvy countries can create some shape or form of stealth fighter. But technological gap between US and Pakistan is a day n night difference. Universities over here are rewriting and redefine science research papers and science books everyday.

Whereas in Pakistan degree, degree hoti hy.

So ya, Pakistan can create project Azam but system, subsystems, software, quality will be Mehran n farrari difference.

Good thing is that mehran wont be facing a Ferrari. Even if it does the driver will probably crash it.

F-18s are frontrunner... especially to avoid SANCTIONS post S 400 DELIVERY... and US is not leaving any occasion to remind India about the consequences of buying S 400... and only way to avoid that is... BUY SOMETHING FOR BILLION N BILLIONS...

5 years back I would have also said that... F 35 is not coming... before 2010, I would have also said that no way... No Apache or Chinook or C 130...

2004 is a year... a milestone... in Indo-US relations... and now everything is on TABLE... it is India which is hesitating not US...
