Turkey never had any A/B. They have some 40 block 30, 15 block 50+. All the rest are block 40/50.

No. We get F-35, we know very well what it is. We dont really need a pig in a poke which is PAK FA, besides we cant trust Russia.

Why do you think we started the TFX-project?

Imagine if we would scrap the whole JSF deal and merged the budget we allocated for that with the budget for TFX - wouldn't be too bad, huh On a serious note though, I feel bad that we don't have more momentum in our bargain for the JSF. We should, just like Israel, be able to integrate our own stuff with it without any restrictions.

Let me put it this way;we dont have the right people in the right places.
Would you being the US in the current situation allowe Turkey to have that option?
I guess its to complecated,we just have to wait and see what the future brings.

That is a good question,which i cant answer with certainty.

We have heavy restrictions. We were not allowed to integrate our radar and FLIR.
