USA will keep the situation boiling and in that pursuit, will sell million of $worth of weaponry to the eastern European allies, win back Europe's trust (which it lost during Trump's period), will establish couple of more bases in Europe (at the cost of NATO), find excuses to sanction Russia even more replacing Russia's exportes goods to EU by US products (win back market).....this is how modern world fight the ward....

Yes , but the big elephant in the room is the over 6490 nuclear wepons trained at the US and most of Nato. No one wants a nuclear winter Because of Ukraine

This entire conflict is the miscalculation by the western military thinkers about the lengths the Russians are willing to go
To safeguard their country and interests.

The only sad thing here is how innocent Ukrainian will Lose their lives in a pointless conflict with Russia to make money for their oligarchs who will fly away in their private jets.

Russia is underestimated by the Americans. Americans are fairly accurately estimated by Chinese which is high regard and respect but not to some levels of others who think Americans control the universe and have UFO weapons. Russians probably have accurate estimation of Americans but no one truly knows each side's dedication and resolve for it. I don't think Russian ability is given enough credit by westerners but that is the main thing to understand for both sides.

The USA has never fought Russia or Soviet Union directly. There is no precedence for speculating on real world outcome of limited fighting.

On fighting, I doubt USA would dare fight Russia directly or Russia want to fight USA over Ukraine but Russia has more to lose if they lose ground on Ukraine while USA has nothing being risked in this except influence over Ukraine which before 2014 it never had anyway. Basically this is Russia could lose (US Ukraine victory scenario) or could win back what it had at loss of public perception (Russian victory scenario) even further since Western nations have constantly been attacking Russia with propaganda. USA could lose nothing (Russian victory scenario) and only win Ukraine (US Ukraine victory scenario).

This is quite unfair on Russia and unfortunately since Soviet break the NATO and west have constantly created similar types of scenarios where western loss is none and can only win in case of victory. This is consequence of Russia's loss from Soviet break.

For as long as Russian and NATO both come on the terms that they have no option but to make peace, they will remain in a deadlock, and high risk of getting themselves in the conflict, US is across the Atlantic and will not get affected by any war in Europe or Middle East or Central Asia, but them once again will for the clean up.

US has its own nuclear weapons so of course threatening US/Russia or China with a all out war is ridiculous because whoever wins rest of the world will die. I said that about Taiwan that Chinese Invasion of the Island will come at the right time, and at the time of their own choosing, and no America will not go to the extend of full scale War because of a Tiny Island, and If USA do cross the threshold than it would be stupid cause you are risking your own country with millions of Americans over Taiwanese. But Americans will make sure that they keep Allies in the region, armed them to the teeth, such as India, Vietnam, Philippines to make sure if China tries any misadventure the countries in the region will resist backed by Americans, this is how the future conflicts are fought, but no one will risk a nuclear was for another country or an island.
