Extremist,Moderate or Liberal Muslim??

this is weird what is a muslim according to the majority here? why are muslims always made to defend their beard & the jews are not questioned? why are the muslim hijab such an issue but the chritisan nun is not questioned?

why do people like sharkuh have to teach religion??? why do people feel the need to change religion to their understanding or to their benefit??

why do people try to bring in new testaments to islam? their is nothing a funky cool hip fashionable religion!!! people try to commercialize religion to what end!

no no no zaki this is not a religious war it is just a question as to why do people have to defend religion when they don't know proper religion themselves? they just pick and choose what they find convinent?

oh yaar Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world and some peoples cannot digest that so they are putting hurdles to disgrace Islam whatever way they can. We have equal rights to live in this world peacefully like christians, hindus and other religions. But some peoples (West) does not want us to grow so they are defaming our religion however possible.

You are right, we Muslims are never united and that is the reason why we are being beaten up everywhere and trust me if we stick only to the teachings of the Qur'an everybody will be united once again but when we talk about other religious books or the opinions of the scholars they may collide with each other and this is where we can't behave like an adult. Some of us are extra emotional so when they don't agree on to something they start behaving childish rather than understanding what other person is trying to say. Some of us are narrow minded and they don't want to accept anything even though the truth is revealed

Islam is the fastest growing religion AGREED! but the fundamental question is who understands islam? everyone tries to mold it to their preference! like sharukh to his zakir naik to his! me to mine & you to your's!

the problem is our ulemas are coming usually from POOR backgrounds! hence sometimes cannot relate or understand what is being asked of them....and I AM NOT SAYING poor people are wrong but i am saying your background does affect your thinking and your point of view!

if our ulemas are CHEMICAL ENGINEERS,CFAs,NUCLEAR SCINENTIST don't you think they will be able to reflect deen better! they would be able to keep deen & duniya! currently people believe you can have deen or duniya!! but never both!

i am sorry but usually when people have not such a bright kid they plan to make him an alem-e-din but if you have a bright kid you want to make him a scinetist or CFAs!

back in the day uleams were not just ulemas but great mathematicians,doctors etc!

today we might be more in numbers but in quantity we are severely depleted!

you talk about different scholars different people beliving different things! let me ask you a simple question do you understad arabic? i guess the answer is no! so how can you understand your deen!??? how do you know if the scholar is cursing you in arabic or is saying something from the quranic text!(i am only giving an exmaple)

the problem is our LOVE for our deen is not lacking but our UNDERSTANDING is! our love is so much that if one scholar tells us to do something for deen to appease our maker we will do it regardless of thinking is it mentioned anywhere in the book of Allah?

translation looses the essence the meaning and depends on who is translating?

WE ALL are MUSLIMS only by NAME! the day we admit this we can talk about how to improve the case.
