Latest Indian Drama: ‘Rocket Attack’ At Wagah

2c3a086a378081dd818a2982fd547550.jpg

In an attempt to make the most of Indian Home Minister P Chidambaram’s visit to the US, India has alleged being attacked by Pakistani rangers in the Wagah sector using ’several rockets’.

Staging false flag attacks is nothing new for Indians when trying to paint Pakistanis as terrorists while in high-profile talks with American leaders.

Lets rewind to year 2000: Chattisinghpora, Occuped Kashmir – On the eve of then US President Bill Clinton’s visit to India, 35 Kashmiri Sikhs were massacred in cold blood by Indian security forces posing as Kashmiri Freedom Fighters. The usual ‘Lashkar-e-Tayba militants’ were rounded up and executed in fake-encounters, the ‘Pakistani National’ was produced, ensuring Clinton’s entire visit focused on what India calls ‘Pakistan-backed terrorism’. It was only much later when the damage was done that the truth of the massacre came out, implicating Indian soldiers and intelligence agencies in this heinous crime.

The Indians security forces went a step ahead in their brutality back then. Kashmiris protesting the deaths of five innocent muslims in fake encounters right after the massacre, were fired upon murdering a further eight, and bringing the total toll of this massacre closer to fifty.

P Chidambaram has ensured his entire trip to the United States was focused on Pakistan’s alleged lack of seriuosness in dealing with the ‘Mumbai attackers’, and the recent allegations of rocket attacks provides the perfect backdrop to India’s persecution complex.

Pakistan calls India’s bluff

Pakistan has officially offered to hold an open debate with the Indian home minister over the probing of Mumbai attacks.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik said, “I am ready for the debate anywhere in India, Pakistan or wherever his Indian counterpart likes.”

Talking to journalists in Islamabad, Malik started off by pointing out that the first formal response to Pakistan’s February 9 request for information came on June 20th and that too was in Marathi language. Besides citing other Indian lapses, he pointed out that India refused to share the Samjotha Express dossier which was of critical importance as “a friendly country, which is also close to India, had told us that one of the Mumbai terrorists was also involved in the Mumbai incident”.

Malik said he had received the latest Indian dossier in which the Indians have provided us with a statement from Ajmal Kasab, who claims now speaking to Hafiz Saeed when he was in Mumbai.

‘Initially the Indians said Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi was the mastermind and we arrested him… now they have started saying that Hafiz Saeed is the mastermind,’ Malik said.

.
Only God knows what is truth behind this. Because in such cases it hard to find the truth. Indians will always say that the rockets were fired from Pakistan. But Pakistan will deny the reports. There is no way it can be judged out who is telling the truth and who is telling a lie. Because there was no neutral source present. And there is no point of firing of such sort being true... Just loss of ammunition. And it has nothing to do with the Indian women soldiers I believe so we can cut that crap.

India lodges strong protest after rockets fired from Pak

AMRITSAR: India on Saturday lodged a strong protest with Pakistan over the firing of three rockets from across the border that exploded two

kilometres inside Punjab.

The issue was raised at a flag meeting between the BSF and Pakistani Rangers in the wee hours after the missiles landed in open fields in Modhey and Dhoneya Khurd villages in Attari sector on the Indo-Pak border, prompting retaliatory gunfire from the Indian border troops.

There was no damage or casualty on the Indian side due to the Pakistani action last night, BSF Inspector General Himmat Singh said.

"We held a flag meeting at about 1 am and made a very strong protest to them (Pakistani Rangers) about this incident," he told reporters here.

"Yesterday night, at about 10 pm, the BSF troops posted at Pulkanjini border outpost saw flashlights and firing from Pakistan territory and after a very short gap, they heard explosions," Singh said.

"Our troops on the border retaliated immediately, very strongly...after that no incident of fire from Pakistani side was reported," he said.

"Three rockets were fired from Pakistani side. There was no damage but it raises suspicion about developments on the other side of the border," a BSF official said.

During the meeting, the Rangers "feigned ignorance (about the incident) but said they will look into it," he said.

New Delhi suspects that the border incidents were mainly aimed at diverting attention of the Indian forces to push in infiltrators.

In the flag meeting, which was held at the Joint Check Post at the international border in Attari, Commandant H S Dhillon led the BSF delegation while Wing Commander Akbar Bhatt was leading the delegation of Pakistan Rangers.

"The firing from Pakistan may be an attempt to demoralise the villagers as well as newly-deployed woman BSF constables," Baljit Singh, panchayat member of a border village, said.

For the first time in the history of BSF, 16 women constables of the force were deployed yesterday at Rorawali village near Attari border to facilitate frisking of ladies.

The step was taken following demands from farmers to let village women pass the barbed fencing wire on the border to their agricultural fields within Indian territory.

I wont say anything. India has accused Pakistan many time before for many things. Just look at this video. It will explain it all

A REQUEST TO ALL MEMBERS

I didnt wanted to say this but i think i must say it now
will you people stop generalizing all women as 'whores', how easy is it for u ppl to generalize & say women 'ur a whore u b!t%ch'

No girl ever wants to be a whore, she always want to have a nice life & wishing for a good life & working for it is right of every human, and its this 'pursuit of happiness' is for what we spend our lives & every one dont get it & probably most of the evil in this world is coz of human nature to 'pursue happiness' for his/her satisfaction & u know humans are never satisfied
As far as prostitutes are concerned have u men ever thought what are the circumstances which transform a girl into prostitute & a whore, what are the circumstances & conditions coz of which a woman sells itself time after time, she dies & gets alive & dies again & it continues for the rest of her life, she sells her self respect for a few bucks, i ask u ppl WHY??? have u ppl ever thought about it before generalizing women as whores
Dont respect whores but at least consider them humans, ppl say whores are bad(they are) but no one will ever say the man who uses that whore a 'bad person', this is idiotic
I want u ppl to think on this for just 5 mins

Even it can be elaborated as they a necessary evil in the society....... No society is there without some amount of desperates.... They always were, they always are and they always will be... At least there is a point where they can take out their desperation. If it wont be there the world would be more unsafe for a women. Already we are not short of rape cases. What would happen when a man desperately needs a body to quench his thirst.......... the world would become more unsafe for women...

There is no point of comparing prostitutes with the women soldiers in the army. I had already said in the thread then it would be disgrace to the soldiers to the other side when their counterpart on the other side is a whore. Some people find it funny but start looking at the other side that the soldier equivalent to your soldier is a whore....... So cut the BS off and dump it. :)

Coming back to topic as I said we cannot justify it based on the Indian media or Pakistani media as these reports are based on the account of soldiers from both sides and no one is going to say they themselves are wrong. Only god knows what is the truth in this case...:flame:

107 MM army-type rockets fired into India: BSF

Even as the Pakistani authorities Saturday denied that any rockets were fired from its side into Indian territory, paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) officials here said they were fully equipped to retaliate against any provocation from the neighbouring country.

107 mm rockets

Senior BSF officials, who inspected the spot and the rockets that were fired, said three 107MM rockets were fired into India Friday night near the Attari-Wagah check post.

"The 107 MM rockets are used by armies all over the world. Some terrorist organisations also use them. In July also, the same rockets were fired in this area. We are investigating the matter," BSF's Punjab Frontier Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Jagir Singh said.

"We had a meeting with officials of the Pakistan Rangers last (Friday) night. Though the Rangers have denied that rockets were fired from Pakistan side, we have given them time to investigate and react to the incident. They have said that they will investigate this. We will be meeting them (Rangers) again," Singh said.

BSF troopers fired from machine-guns into Pakistan after rockets were fired into Indian territory in Amritsar from across the border. The rockets landed in fields in the Pul Kanjari area near the Attari joint check post from across the border between both countries.

BSF officials said 7-8 machine-gun bursts were fired into Pakistan after the rockets landed on the Indian side.

Villages in the Pul Kanjari area, where the incident took place, were tense even though the BSF increased patrolling.
"We did retaliatory fire from machine-guns and have lodged a strong protest with the Pakistani side. Villagers heard three sounds," Singh said.
Residents of border villages near the Attari-Wagah check-post in Amritsar district informed BSF officials about rockets landing in fields, BSF Inspector General of Police for Punjab Frontier Himmat Singh said.
Commandants of the BSF and Pakistan Rangers held a meeting at the border in the wee hours of Saturday to investigate the incident. The Indian side lodged a strong protest over repeated incidents of shelling from across the border.

This is the second incident of rockets being fired into Indian territory from Pakistani soil. Three rockets were fired into Indian territory in early July.
India has erected an electrified barbed wire fencing on its side of the 553-km Indo-Pak border in Punjab.

The rockets were fired just hours after the BSF stationed the first batch of women troopers along the international border Friday.
"The women troops will do their duties normally. This incident will have no affect on their work. There is no move to withdraw them from the border," the DIG said.

As many as 118 women troopers were stationed at Border-Out Posts (BOPs) along the Punjab border Friday. Though the women troopers will be used for non-combat duties like frisking women and villagers doing farming across the fence in Indian territory, they are trained for patrolling and using weapons.link

India, Pakistan investigate border rocket blasts

By MUNIR AHMAD (AP) – 1 day ago

ISLAMABAD — India said that three rockets were fired into the country from Pakistan overnight, but Pakistani officials said Saturday they were launched from India. No one was injured in the blasts.

The rockets struck near the border villages of Dhoni Khurd and Modey in India's Punjab state, said Himmat Singh, an inspector general of India's Border Security Force.

While shooting incidents are quite common on the archrival countries' shared border in Kashmir, they are more rare along the frontier in the Punjab. Still, there was no sign the incident would spark any major diplomatic tensions.

Singh said it was not immediately clear who had fired the rockets, but they came from the other side of the border and Indian soldiers returned fire.

"We have lodged a protest with the Pakistan Rangers and are trying to ascertain who is responsible for the rocket attacks," Singh told reporters Saturday.

Nadeem Raza, a spokesman for Pakistan's paramilitary Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), said their commander met early Saturday with his Indian counterpart to discuss the incident.

He denied that the rockets were fired from Pakistan, but said an investigation was under way.

"We are confident that the rockets were fired from India and they landed on the Indian side," Raza told The Associated Press.

The rockets fell in empty fields and did not cause any damage.

The Indian army accused Pakistan earlier this month of shooting across the border into Kashmir in an incident that killed an Indian soldier. Brig. Gopala Krishnan Murali, a senior army officer, at the time could not say whether the Indian post was targeted by the Pakistan army or suspected Islamic insurgents inside Pakistani territory.

Pakistan and India have a history of bitter relations, having fought three wars since gaining independence from Britain in 1947.

Associated Press Writer Nirmala George contributed to this report from New Delhi.

BSF finds fifth Pak rocket shell in Punjab village

AMRITSAR: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on Sunday found another rocket shell in the fields near a village in this district of Punjab, raising the number of rockets fired from Pakistan into India in the last 40 hours to five, officials said.

"During our search operation, our officials have found another rocket today (Sunday). It exploded in the open space around a km from the houses of Pul Kanjari village here. It must have been fired yesterday (Saturday) and gone undetected by us," BSF Inspector General (Punjab Frontier) Himmat Singh said.

"Now the number of rockets that were fired from Pakistan towards Indian villages has reached five. We had lodged a formal protest with Pakistan Rangers yesterday (Saturday) and we are still waiting for any reply from their side," he added.

Earlier three rockets, which were fired in quick succession from Pakistan, exploded near a village in this district late Friday night. The attack triggered retaliatory gunfire by BSF officials.

Later Saturday evening, a fourth rocket, which had not unexploded, was found in the fields of Pul Kanjari village. However, Pakistani authorities on Saturday denied any rockets were fired from their territory.

Following the attacks, there was tension in the border villages. Local villagers Saturday also staged a protest against the shelling and demanded that Indian authorities take strict action. In a similar incident in July, four rockets were fired from Pakistani territory towards border villages in India.

India has erected an electrified barbed wire fence on its side of the 553-km India-Pakistan border in Punjab.

Reading all that ^^^^^^^^^

makes me really sad and angry :disagree: at both Indians and Pakistanis.

You guys have learned nothing!! :disagree:

You are typical, predictable and emotional. Not just for this incident but I can accurately predict what you lot, on both sides are gonna do in the future as well. So, for your sake, I am writing this: (@ AM and Mods: this is on topic)

What a typical Indian/Pakistani would do within seconds at the prospect of an Indo Pak clash at any level:

1) Dont waste time on checking the facts.
2) Start firing for your side ASAP (as soon as possible).
3) You have to defeat the other side at any cost.
4) The last one standing should be yourself.
5) A little ill-planned blind hatred and emotion for your country aint a bad thing.

What a typical Indian/Pakistani should do within seconds at the prospect of an Indo Pak clash at any level:

1) Facts. References. Authentic Sources. It is the Tech Age. At then end of the day, the truth will spill out. Then, if you had your facts right you would be glad.
2) The world is full of emotional immature people. Be sane. Use sanity and logic as your weapon.
3) Beating the enemy is no more relevant, if you are right, help him understand your viewpoint.
4) The globe is integrated. The next door neighbor, Indian or Pak is your neighbor. Unless you plan to exterminate him (which will render you the title of a barbaric butcher for all eternity) learn to live with him. You both should be standing at the end holding each others hands.
5) Blind hatred and blind emotion never ended good for anyone. Yet, do have blind hatred and blind emotion but for Hatred and Injustice.
