Honestly, i cant remember seeing any ''Made in China'' groceries here, a lot stuff is already local production and the rest is either EU, South America or U.S.
Electronics and other goods made of Plastics are made in China though.

Domestic market is good but you still need exports, its just simply not true that the West needs China more than other way around and there is a simple logic to prove that.
Its China that wants to invest billions into Belt & Road initiative, why do you think China does all the investition if its the West thats more dependent on it?

Apart from that Chinas population is rapidly ageing meaning in 30 years from now you will neither have the human capital to uphold the production rate nor the domestic consumer market with young population that usually spends more money than old generations.

Then good for you, but China is the world biggest exporter and trading nation, even those products don't go to Germany, they go to some other countries and that's good enough for us,maybe Germany in not a big trading partner of China, if so, good for both of us.

If the goverment can do anything about it then they must act now because you guys are running out of time to do something.

But China still have two children policies, if all the restrictions are lifted and even provide incentives to encourage people to have more children, trends can be easily turned , cause tradtionally Chinese culture prefers big families and more offsprings.

Chinese dont even have two children even with this policy now, the birth rates dropped even more since the once Child policy got lifted, this proves that the goverments policies wont have a positive effect on birth rates.
The biggest problem for China is that a whole generation of single childs grew up, the problem with this is that those got spoiled so much that many see children as a burden which is not worth taking.
Fixing Chinas demographic problem is harder than you imagine, its not like the goverment can turn on a switch and people will start making children.
In my opinion the demographic problem is the biggest challenge China faces before any foreign enemy, even before environmental problems, you guys should shift your focus to the real problems and reset your priorities.

This is not true , I know many friends having multiply siblings, one child policy only implemented in the cities but not rural regions, when this policy started in 1980's, the vast majority of the Chinese population were rural population, it's not uncommon to see families having 3 or 4 children.
