thats why said,the report isnt credible................it states that odisha,jharkhand and chattisgarh are badly affected......the truth is we have improved a lot.........we dont hear about maosit news as such.........its just the chattisgarh forest where only a few of them are hiding.........

Actually its a classical case of proving anything by statistics.. This fact is due to reduction in the fatalities in J&K etc and not the other way around

If you see below, the fatalities due to left wing extremism have remain more of less same since 2005, and have shown a slight increase till 2010 and decrease post that

On the other hand, in J&K the count has decreased by over 90% between 2005 and 2013..

mate C.R.P.F. is basically a reserve Police force maintained by the GoI which can be pressed into any law and order crisis within the Indian territories.the same thing happened in the red corridor also.Initially the C.R.P.F. were taking heavy casualties owing to poor training in counter-insurgency and jungle warfare but the tides are changing slowly but surely in their favor after the establishment of a specialised Counter-insurgency unit called COBRA within the C.R.P.F.these COBRA personnel are being trained by the Indian Army trainers at the CIJWS in Mizoram and due to their superior training and sophisticated weaponry they have been instrumental in inflicting serious damages to the Maoist ranks in the recent years.nowadays,the Maoist rebels are being hunted at will by these COBRA operatives and most of the senior leadership of C.P.I.(Maoist) have either been eliminated or being arrested in the past 2-3 years.
Maoists are now basically fighting for their very survival and i can only say that they are loosing grounds to the Indian Police personnel by the each passing day
