Flew a few weeks before becoming chief....he's been flying a lot more than the previous chief. He's an aviator and an officer. I can assure you it felt nothing to him and it wasn't sustained long enough to get his muscles weakened....he's A1G1.You can notice the deflection on both wings from the tremendous pressure that is exerted on them as it's going from horizontal flight into vertical. Don't see that too often.
Couple of other things you can notice in this great photo here:
1) The chief, although most definitely an experienced aviator but he's not a spring chicken anymore like most us old guys lol... it's probably been a while since he's taken the brutal effects of 5 or 6 Gs is my guess... is probably hurting a little bit right there lol.
2) You can actually see the circular disc sensor on the spine of the D model right behind his helmet.
3) Speaking of helmet, that one he has on and the oxygen mask is not the standard US issue helmet & mask. It looks quite different. Any idea who's that maker of that?
Legend has it PTV imported cameras from North Korea back in 1980s and still same old camera man who is in his 80s.The filming by cameramen was highly phatheic and unprofessional. If every one was rehearsing for so many days what were they doing all those days. They didn't practice catching fine shots to make it memorable. It was like shooting old Pakistani film which couldn't show even faces clear
They are trained to take wedding shots....hence more attention to the crowd.....The filming by cameramen was highly phatheic and unprofessional. Helmet is standard American design, mask is an old design that he started wearing when he started flying F-16s in the early 1990s, as PAF F-16 pilots at that time were the first ones to be given the "new" helmets.....the first batches of drivers were known as the "Greys"....
You could tell in another squadron if a pilot had a grey helmet that he most likely was from an F-16 squadron previously...
This is just to dispel the notion the F-16Cs in PAF dont use CFTs ...
