Have you ever considered the possibility that, with the way things are going overall, Pakistan may end up begging for someone to take away its weapons and just give them wheat and water in return?

Maintaining nukes are not that costly. Their development required hefty amount but not too much in operational costs. Heck grounding F16s fleet would save more money then giving up on nuclear deterrence.

lol, you used to mock those who talked about the elephant in the room i.e. politicization of armed forces when PTI and establishment were on the "same page". Now, you call gernail Bajwa Mir Bajwa because of his falling out with PTI. Until folks like you do not realize that the problem is an institutional one where the institution of land armed forces is deeply politicized, we would keep getting "Mir" Bajwas repeatedly and the country will keep getting impoverished consequent of political instability which births economic impoverishment. The corrupt government in BD has been able to deliver, but devoid of political stability, even relatively "clean" governments can not do much. The biggest destabilizing force on the Pakistani political scene is a clique of conniving, scheming generals that always exists, changing only names and faces as the problem is an institutional/systemic one. The system will continue birthing "Mir" Bajwas and his courtiers of gernails.

This is the same old "my puppet is better than your puppet" approach that leaves the puppet master free to whatever they may wish to do, while the minions tear each other apart. Such is this "wonderful" system, because the house simply ceases to exist if the puppet master is removed. Nice job security, I suppose.
