Ex President and Ex COAS General Pervez Musharraf Passes Away

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un.

Despite their major blunders, him and Ayub Khan were the only two dictators who actually intended to bring positive change in Pakistan.
Sad for anyone to die. And yes his intentions in the earlier part of his stint might have been good, though there is a legitimate argument to be made that he was indeed trying to protect himself over the Kargil fiasco (which even within the military was questioned prior to it commencing). But both Ayub and Musharraf were a disaster for Pakistan in the longer arc of time, destroying through their actions all of our institutions and decaying their own institution over time in order to protect their own power.

.
It's not for you to make judgments on iman, leave it to the real Judge. We know the name of only one munafiq and he has died a long time ago. Lump him with yazeed but that's about it I would go to.

Not a judge. But given a brain and given the duty to be wary of munafiqs and to disassociate from them.

Sad for anyone to die
Everyone dies. Sadness is the wasted life and the fear of the reckoning that awaits us all for our deeds.

Imposed Martial law in the country.

Then became the slave of America. Bombed hs own country. Pushed the country into the war of others. We 80 thousand dead bodies and we continues to bear its consequences till today. Then he was drunk in power of uniform that the he killed the bugti. And called it proud. moment.

If couldn't handle an incident like Lal Masjid politically, then turned the mosque into phosphorus. In the end even killed 50 people in Karachi and slapped his hands on their chests and said you have seen our show of strength.

Then he gave NRO to the two most corrupt leaders. And again imposed on them this country. After all this, when he dies, believe me, my heart does not even pray for him.
I don't want to I just don't want to.

Today, those trained by him running on this country, neither respecting the constitution, nor caring for the country.
Just letting themselves be American
What is this republic, what is this nation, what is the relationship between them.

Not defending Musharraf but imposing martial law was no crime. Same with Akbar bugti

His mistakes were accepting all American conditions after 9/11 easily even though Pakistan never had much choice and all leaders more or less would have done the same

His biggest mistake was giving NRO which we are paying for till today. Killings in Karachi were again one of his crime

Man....

The end of era.

Even people of opposite camp (Fawad Chaudhry) is full of praise for him. Just listened Fawad on TV

Mr. Musharraf took the Indians head on.

He gave freedom to our media.

He was probably forced to do NRO by Saudis and Americans...He might not have liked Sharifs and bhuttos

Even Indians praised him...

And he passed away today (on Kashmir day)

What a hero......

A glimpse of his emotions for his Army and Pakistan

Former chief of army staff and President Pervez Musharraf has passed away on Sunday at American Hospital in UAE after a prolonged illness.
Local media reports quoting his family members said the former four-star general succumbed to Amyloidosis. He was hospitalised for a couple of weeks due to a complication of his ailment, per reports.

Musharraf was the tenth president of the South Asian nation after the successful military coup in 1999. He served as the 10th CJCSC from 1998 to 2001 and the 7th top general from 1998 to 2007.

Hence proved even Retired Generals can die. And are supposed to appear before Allah on the day of judgement.

He sold his people to foreign countries and gave NRO-1 that resulted in mass poverty and terrorism instead of holding those crooks accountable.

Tough time ahead for him on both accounts.

Imposing martial law isn't a crime?
Which country do you live in?
Do you know that our constitution states that suspending or abrogating any part of constitution will lead to imposing article 6 on that person?

This thing could never be applied because our judiciary is bitch of army

Musharraf considered constitution just a piece of paper and never respected it.

Yes it is no crime. And yes constitution is a piece of paper which keeps on getting changed as per the wishes of the powerful

This is the idealistic nonsense that Imran Khan keeps on repeating in his speeches

He kicked out Nawaz sharif and people celebrated it since that was the right thing to do. I would never criticize him at least for that

His biggest crime was selling innocent people to USA, accepting USA conditions many of which were damaging for Pakistan, giving NRO to crooks and those 11 May incidents in Karachi

Yes, he established his strong personality at the world stage from pakistan.

I truly recognized him as one of the toughest leader against India.

He made few blunders but mostly, was not having much choices when comes to USA.

It's called amendment and it happens everywhere in world.

It's just military not respecting constitution lead to this believe

And then he brought nawaz back too

And it doesn't matter which party is in government
Military have no right to impose martial law
