Mate give it a rest arguing with a shameless few of my variety. It has been the case that majority of Pakistanis have adopted the view that Xinjiang issue is a total hoax created by the west, a lot of them also think that since Chinese are their strategic allies they should just look the other way, only few among the Pakistanis are calling a spade a spade. Unfortunately, a few of my fellow countrymen are recently showing symptoms of sucking up to the Pakistanis and adopting similar views. Don't waste your breath on them. Xinjiang's condition will improve in the near future, the west is only starting to ramp up their game, a game for their own evil benefits, but a side effect of that will be Xingjian situation will improve.

Yes Muslims have no power nowadays. Since 100 years we lost the power because westerns backed wahabi movement of Saudi Arabia against Ottoman Empire . Same westerners weaken and later destroyed the Mughal empire. But do not worry if Muslims once had power , they can gain power again.

Xinjiang is a semi-desert area, especially the southern Xinjiang where Uyghurs live. Uyghurs live in desert oasis. Xinjiang is surrounded by the Tianshan Mountains, Karakoram Mountains, and Pamir Plateau, and the ecological environment is extremely harsh. Can't support the current population, but soon, their population will reach 20 million. They are now typical Malthusian traps. Ten years before the outbreak of the war in Syria, the population grew almost too fast. Islam prohibits family planning, especially the radical Islam, which allows women to have children continuously for the purpose of fighting jihad. The excessively increased population has caused a lot of unemployment. There is no exception in the countries where the Arab Spring broke out. Excessive population growth, no industries that can employ a large number of people, and a lot of unemployment will inevitably breed dissatisfaction with the status quo. You know, in 1949 when the Chinese People's Liberation Army regained Xinjiang, the Uyghur population was only over 2 million. They have grown 5 times, which is a process of acceleration. The semi-desert ecology of Xinjiang can no longer carry such a multi-dimensional Uer population.
This is very, very scary for China. We have to get along with a savage, violent, and cruel Turkic nation. Either let them be independent, or consume the surplus population through war. I am not a cold person, I just tell the truth and the truth. This is bound to happen.
My personal suggestion is that China abandon southern Xinjiang and expel Uyghurs from northern Xinjiang back to their original place of residence, southern Xinjiang. Let them be independent, we abandon this desert, but we must station troops and make it a protectorate of China, just like India controls Sikkim.
Uyghurs are not a nation in themselves, but are identified by the Chinese Communist Party imitating Stalin's ethnic group, and named different people together as Uyghurs.
I think that only Uyghurs in southern Xinjiang, who are mainly ethnically integrated with Indo-Europeans and Tocharians, are the real Uyghurs.

Another duplicitous Western state actor, Turkish leadership of elites, has a dog in the Uyghur fight. Since both Turkey and Uyghurs share common race and ancestral heritage, being Turkic.
