I don't see any mistake by accepting the offer

. This could make AMCA a valid candidate for euporean countries also. Kaveri must be upgraded at the same time. Eurojet can end this engine saga. They can also be roped in to achieve kaveri too. Best deal clinch it. One must be so dumb to avoid such an offer when nation is facing shortage for fighter jets. Just think about the amount of confidence among the AMCA customers if we use euro fighter jet engine or upgraded one for 5th gen AMCA

I think Dassault too can be roped in, with Rafale Deal in its final stages, it would really make sense to approach France for M 88 engine which just like EJ 2000 is another proven product. & in long term commonality will reduce the costs and upkeep .

Agency (ADA). The R&D efforts led to the new configuration AMCA-3B-08 and a structurally efficient wing layout with four bending attachment brackets and two shear attachment brackets. For the AMCA 3B-08, structural design, analysis and size optimization was carried out to cater for all critical symmetric and un-symmetric load cases. Finite element models were built separately for each of the fuselage segments and then integrated to build a full fuselage finite element model.

If AMCA is a priority for IAF then this is the good option.

Not if or may be ... AMCA must be our priority. The future is not very far. Wish we had reinforced new team with private players for AMCA

Does not change anything, AMCA is not a priority and the reasons are pretty obvious.

After pakfa,rafale and tejas mk2 we have no money for amca.
The earlier we realize it the better.

Maybe possible after 2030.

Best approach is

1)Make in house aesa
2)In house irst
3)In house maws,jammers
4)Most important partner with eurojet/snmeca/npo saturn/ge for engine whether modification of kaveri or new.

Then think something after 2030

French people already stabbed our back and they actually derailed our engine . So let's go for Eurojet TVC engine for much needed boost for any aircraft . Please keep making some nice on this . So its heard loud and clear to our MOD . Am hoping to see eye Indian fighter jets in huge numbers . At least we must make way for our next generation . After all party win and loss elections . PM will come and go . But the land must survive at any cost . Even I will happy if PM open civilian donation accounts so people like us will contribute from our pocket . Sounds so proud isn't it Long live mother India

On topic : What will the thrust for F22 raptor vs EF vs su35 vs Park Fa ? Can anyone specify it . And what was the IAF requirements for over all engine capacity ?
