Actors in Pakistan are kinda butt hurt over ertugrul drama. Shaan certainly is and now is suggesting that money should be invested into them by the Imran khan government to make higher quality drama or movie.

From my point of view, these actors were overrated, making movies with mujra and crapy storyline. Don't get me wrong I like Shaan, he is a good actor but end of the day I cant relate to a fictional story or mujras or watch with it with my parents. Ertugrul is clean and suitable for family viewing and best of all no dance songs with saimas big *** shaking across the screen.

Historical dramas have such huge potential. Imagine something based on the IVC and its interactions with multiple other civilisations of that era....Persians, Gangetics, Aryans, Arabs.

You're right though that the problem with Pakistani productions is that in a bid to emulate Bollywood successes, half of the script is focused on posturing to someone of the opposite sex. This ruins a potentially good industry as raw talent is there in droves. Someone else on another thread mentioned that in terms of genuine quality beyond machismo posturing, Iranian, Turkish and even Arabic drama is superior.

Plus Pakistan has the culture of nepotism which diminishes the chances of fresh actors to star in films. pak actors all seem to be related. Lion of the desert was class, great historical event.
The best we have these days is ispr and the rest is gand blaa.

Let's not forget, the begairaty of pak actors to go begging to India to get a role. I bet they wouldn't mind selling out their culture and izzat for abit of rupees like starring as a terrorist in an Indian movie.

Worse is this. Pakistan entertainment industry is like all the rest. Corrupt and works on sifarish. Same tired out faces. We have Hollywood busting talent with character, looks aplenty in Pakistan but they are all driving rickshaws, trucks or working on construction sites. We have better looking, characters [both females and males] that can outdo Turks. Most Turks are quite ugly. Short, baldy types. This talent coupled with good directors we could match Hollywood. But alas ...

Typical Pakistani mentality. These guys will work on any bakwas project as long as it pays money, but they expect the taxpayer to fund their careers. Maybe they should provide a single example of a worthwhile project the Pakistani film/TV industry has created which could have worldwide appeal - which has been blackballed by PTV or private media channels?

Pakistan is full of creativity - you only have to look to youtube to see it. At a professional standard though, they don't care. They want to create a monopoly and feed us the same old sh1t - just like the car industry in our country.

i still remember watching tipu sultan made by PTV and got a real taste of the life back then, there were several historical dramas on rashid minhas, aziz bhatti etc.

regards

I agree. But I was talking of the averahe Turk.

Nope. They are white but ugly. Of course I am talking about the average.

On average, Turks are amazing looking people.

Besides, what is ugly and what is beautiful?

These dirty and unpatriotic Pakistani actors and actresses run off to Bollywood to shake their ugly wretched bodies. They hate Pakistan all day long.

Now that Pakistani audience appreciates quality Turkish content these disgusting and disgruntled haters have suddenly found a reason to bitch and whine. Knowing their Bollywood mujra is coming to an end.

Fvck em. The Pak audience loves Turkey and Ertugrul. We absolutely love it. We will welcome the cast from Ertugrul in Pakistan and I will enjoy how the Bollywood filth boils with anger LOL

Some of the best looking are actually of Circasian, Serb/Bosniak, Kurdish origin. Millions migrated from these regions[muhajir] to modern Turkey after Ottoman Empire collapsed.

What my eyes find pleasing. Yours might disagree.

Exactly. My eyes tell me that Turkish brothers and sisters are handsome. Much better looking than most of our soldout actors and actresses. Bollywood sellout garbage LOL

Now who is right and who is wrong?

loves Turkey en Ertugrul
I love Ertugrul. Anything that weans our masses from Indian or Arab culture is to be appreciated. And let there by no doubt. Ertrugrul is Turkish folklore and legend dressed in Muslim sensibilities. Ottoman Empire evolved to Kemal's Attatuk Turkey. Talk to any Turk on PDF and see how the "grey wolves" react. So maybe in a generation we might have millions of Pakistani's going as 'Alp Turks' and wearing these T-shirts.
