Erdoğan not happy with India-Middle East-Europe Corridor

Pathetic Indians .. Your useless India is nothing in world wide trade

and Your corridor is worthless with useless countries who produce nothing ..... so funny

-- India produce almost nothing .. no any world wide brand

-- S.Arabia , The UAE , Jordon , Greece and Israel produce nothing

REAL TRADE CORRIDOR

China is economic super power with export rate of $3,7 trillion to compare with India ( only $767 billion )

China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) referred to as the New Silk Road, is the most ambitious infrastructure projects ever conceived........and launched in 2013 .... ( $1 trillion )

originally devised to link East Asia and Europe through physical infrastructure.

Turkiye and Turkic World are at a key position in the Belt and Road initiative project of China

Middle Corridor through Turkiye and Turkic World = 7.000 km ( 10-15 days )

Northen Corridor through Russia = 10.000 km ( 15-20 days )

Ocean Route : 20.000 km ( 45-60 days )

Keep dreaming with useless India ,,, lol

Instead of going through the suez canal this corridor will take days longer, be more expensive, and end up in a Chinese owned port anyway.

This is just a Saudi attempt to make global trade revovle around them and Pajeets going "Phul Sapport saar"
Via suez canal It takes about 22-23 days while this corridor is meant to do the same in 16-17 days.

The map you have posted is not an official one and is clearly wrong. The route shown doesn't touch any of the three biggest economys of Europe- Italy, France and Germany. All three signed the partnership agreement and Greece did not. It make sense that the primary European port will be in Italy and linked to EU's economic heartland. Greece is in the backwaters, even though it may be the closest to Haifa.

Actually your map doesn't touch any of the largest economies of Europe- Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland , Poland, Sweden, Belgium.

This map or similar is most usually shown, however, indeed, if you stop to think about it, only the Middle East land route portion would have assets fixed in place. The sea routes would be easily subject to change. From Haifa it could ship to any Mediterranean port that joined the seamless transport system. It may well depend on how efficient a destination Greece is compared to Italy.
In fact the same goes with the shipping to Dubai part of the route. Anyone could be allowed to sail to Dubai. China, Pakistan or even Iran could, in theory, use this route if they chose and with the agreement of the transit countries.

Exactly.. From Haifa the ships can go to any preferred destination. And a dedicated Freight Corridor for Trains can be very effective if our own Experience is to go by.

Germany, France and Italy are putting money into this project. Greece or any of its upstream neighbours are not. The governments that are paying have to answer to their taxpayers. The ports most likely to be on the corridor are those in Italy and southern France, with some investment in rail infrastructure going up to Germany. I am sure the Italians extracted something in return for dumping BRI.

But isn’t that your entire GDP? So India exports an entire Turkey every year.

That doesnt change the reality

It's not like anyone is excluding Turkiye. They are a very important part of Eurasia they are free to join and discuss opportunities.

Today only the news came in that numbers and sizes of container vessels that will pass through the Suez Canal is being reduced because of severe draught situation...

Biggest traffic jam in the world – First the Suez Canal and now Panama: Will everything soon become more expensive?

Companies fear the consequences of a prolonged Suez Canal jam

I can't believe anyone would take this seriously.

As was said before, if an alternative to the Suez Canal was needed, and one was willing to make part of the journey by truck through Israel, then one can simply go from the Mediterranean by ship to Israel, and then transport it by truck to the Gulf of Aqaba, which leads to the Red Sea.

The Chinese foreign ministry seems to welcome this trade route apparently, when they sent a reply to PTI's question (Press Trust of India).

So basically the role of Turkey is like a beggar sitting beside the road and watching all the Chinese trucks go?

Saudis won't like Turkish role in this corridor, besides we have another Transport corridor from Russia-India-Iran, Indian economic activity with Turkey is minimal.

Clearly. This will not just give us an alternate route, but also reduce time by30-40% less time. And also this is going to be more than just routes.

.
There was a research paper done by Spanish academic which had proposed this route.
Some interesting points:

The UAE-to-Israel railway network is already almost entirely complete with only about 300 kilometers remaining to be built in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The UAE seems committed to financing the completion of the rail construction as well as an expansion of the port of Haifa’s container capacity. Once the transportation route is operational, Indian goods leaving Mumbai could arrive on the European mainland in as little as 10 days. Compared to the maritime route via the Suez Canal, the Arab-Med Corridor’s route would cut the travel time by approximately 40 per cent

With the development of an India-Middle East Food Corridor at the forefront of New Delhi’s efforts to achieve value chain integration within the Arab-Med Corridor, India has engaged with the UAE in a massive US$7 billion (S$9.51 billion) project to create an India-UAE Food Corridor to ensure the food security of the Emirates and other Middle Eastern countries.

Building on the establishment of an Arabian strategic reserve in India, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are working with New Delhi to develop an integrated hydrocarbon value chain through the creation of petrochemical manufacturing plants. ADNOC and Saudi Aramco are jointly investing US$44 billion (S$58.76 billion)in the construction and operation of a refinery and petrochemicals manufacturing complex in Maharashtra, the Ratnagiri Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (RRPCL), located about 100 kilometers from Mumbai
