Entire Pakistan awaits Altaf Hussain’s exemplary end,
Punjab CM says anti-Pakistan, army tirade proves MQM chief working for enemies
LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif slammed a recent statement by Altaf Hussain – chief of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), saying that the London-based leader's diatribe against Pakistan and the Pakistan Army proves he is working for enemies.
“The entire Pakistani nation awaits the exemplary end of this self-proclaimed leader who calls out to India for help,” he said. The MQM chief's recent statement proves that Rangers have taken the right measures in Karachi during the ongoing operation against terrorists and criminal elements in the port city.
Shahbaz responded intensely on the telephonic address of Altaf Hussain and said that his call out to India has proved that he was working for the enemies of Pakistan. The nation will never forgive Altaf Hussain as he through his remarks hurt the sentiments of 20 crore population of Pakistan, he added.
On July 30, the MQM in a letter sent to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon had claimed ‘excesses’ committed by the paramilitary forces in their ongoing security operation against criminals in Karachi.
