You have 2 polticians stealing $5 from forma $10 pot, while in Indian there are million politicians/officials doing that. You need to come up with something better than this explanation.

Pakistan has 343 seats in the lower House, India has 540 seats. That's about a 1:1.5 ratio. Even if you want to scale it like this, India's economy has always been in a 1:7 ration like its population, so the number of politicians:people ratio in either country is not the same. Anyhow it seems to me that only the leader herself in Pakistan managed to pocket billions, which is enough to impact on the Pakistani economy, but it wouldnt affect the Indian economy..that was my only point.

But then by your anology India has more corrupt politicians (numberwise) than Pakistan so the percentage loss will be the same ? Ok lets buy the arguement that Gen M did the right thing what are the laws he is planning to implement which will bar Mrs BB from repeating the loot ? Or make elections free and fairer ? If he has not done it in 6 years will he be able to do it in one year ?

He has his reasons obviously. There's no point in him lying now..He knows he can't buy that much time, and probably not any. Obviously the judiciary were not independent, so that was one of the hurdles to democracy. It'll make a better democracy.

If the judiciary was biased why did he wait till they passed a judgement against him? By that anology you might as well scrap the judiciary as every time the ruling party in Pakistan gets an adverse ruling they simply have to sack the CJ and make the other justices take fresh oaths ? Who will then interpret the laws in Pakistan impartialy ?
