End military operations

Well that's pretty silly. Reason it was more stable before Musharraf was because the Al Q nuts were festering in Afghanistan. If the Americans had not invaded Afghanistan, the cause of the instability (Al Q), would not have moved into Pakistan. However, economically and politically (the things that could be controlled), things have become much better under Musharraf.

Sorry did not realize that all the tribals where members of al qaeda.
Do anything against mushy and your labelled al qaeda,i wonder how long before all the balochi's are labeled al qaeda.

If the tribals help Al Q by sheltering them, defending them, they are guilty by association. This is standard for any country. Let's say a murderer comes to your house, you give him shelter and hide him from the police. You will find yourself in jail along with the murderer. If you take up arms with him against the police, while resisting arrest, you will be shot along with him. That's the same as what is happening with the tribals and Al Q (not all tribals at all, some are pro government).

Most Baloch actually supported Mush in the elections of 2002 (which was fair despite your denials, according to international observers). There is a problem with 1 tribe out of 50 Baloch ones. Majority couldnt care less about what Bugti was saying. 49 tribes are happy to be normal Pakistanis and live normally.

"If the tribals help Al Q"

If the tribals are fighting to get rid of a tyrant that is hell bent on keeping power then that is a good thing.
If is a very useful word.
You where also very sure that foreign militants where in lal masjid where you not.
The people have had enough of this foolish tyrant and there is an uprising.....nothing to do with al qaeda.

Yo must be the only person who does see that the parliment is handpicked.

What is silly is your support for a dictator!
Unlike mushy who can do what he wants, a democratic govt would have to take on board the wishes of the people and members of its government.
If they did not listen to there people they would lose power and support, the same does not apply to mushy.

Miitary operations need to be stepped up. The menace that is Al Q needs to be eliminated from the whole of Pakistan. Else the suicide bombings will not stop.

Why dont you go and join the army and insist on being sent to the front line.
I think your one of them people that want other peoples family members to be sent to the NWFP while you act like a right wing, war loving chickenhawk sat at home telling others to kill and be killed.

Ijazul Haq (son of triator Zial-ul-haq) released Ghazi every time he was caught with possession of weapons, the government used the Lal Masjid for funding and perks by the US.

Everyone knows Al Q are in the tribal areas. No point in denying it. There's no "ifs" about it. The tribals are mercenaries. They're being paid well, some are sheltering some Al Q.

I have no idea about mentioning Lal Masjid was full of foreigners. It's news to me, perhaps you're hallucinating again. Whether they were foreigners or not is irrelevant, they were breaking the law, this very simple fact seems to go right over your head each time you post. Law breaking = bad. Yes, I know your obvious and predictable response along the lines "b-b-b-buy Mhushi was bhreaking the lhaw also". Well, he is the one that can make the laws and remove them, and all his laws have been passed by parliament, not to mention his rule as president has been legalized. When you have people like Nawaz Sharif taking the country to default, you need to force that backward government out of power to save the country.

Yo must be the only person who does see that the parliment is handpicked.

Far from being hand picked, the current parliament was picked by the people in the fairest and most actively participated elections in Pakistani history to date under Musharraf.

Did democracy ever stop Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif from looting the country or making them "listen to the people"? NO, Pakistan wasnt ready for it, Musharraf is making it ready for democracy. It does not happen automatically.

Why don't you walk the street in Pakistan and get blown up by a suicide bomber nut then? In essence, you want to see a Pakistan where suicide bombers kill innocent Pakistani families. I want to see one where no suicide bombers exist. If that means a crushing response from the Army, then it needs to be done.

how about the US 11 billion looted by NS from the FX accounts of the people to pay for the stupid yellow cab scheme on which every person has defaulted
some democracy!!

Ok even if u throw democracy into the dustbin what is the alternative. If Gen M even with his good intentions could not solve the problems in 6 years what is he going to solve in one year after alienating the judiciary ?

Another rubbish. Whats so special about Pakistan? Why do you think it continues to exist in India which is plagued be equally or even more corrupt politicians and social issues?

Very simple. Democracy continues to exist in India because India can afford its corrupt politicians being a larger economy. Say there's a pot containing $10 and another containing $1000. You steal $5 to pay for your day, the $5 that you steal will have a bigger impact on the $10 pot than the $1000 pot. The same with the economy. When Bhutto was laundering billions for herself, Pakistan was a 50 billion economy. India was around a 400 billion economy, so the politicians won't have so much effect on it. Anyway, I think I was talking about accountability, which isn't there in Pakistan. In India I don't think people care, so long as they get some radicals into politics like BJP. Corruption is secondary.

But then by your anology India has more corrupt politicians (numberwise) than Pakistan so the percentage loss will be the same ? Ok lets buy the arguement that Gen M did the right thing what are the laws he is planning to implement which will bar Mrs BB from repeating the loot ? Or make elections free and fairer ? If he has not done it in 6 years will he be able to do it in one year ?

You have 2 polticians stealing $5 from forma $10 pot, while in Indian there are million politicians/officials doing that. You need to come up with something better than this explanation.
