Encounter underway in Kashmir

The operation is still going on, the official said.

An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Bandipora district of north Kashmir on Thursday morning, police said.

Acting on specific intelligence input about the presence of militants in Shahgund village of Hajin area of the district, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation, a police official said here.

He said as the forces were conducting the search operation, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering an encounter.

The operation is still going on, the official said.

All the bullets which Pakistan has been fighting are from the same guns which were once placed into the hands, by your generals to fight others.some learn from mistakes and some dont and try to repeate the same thing exppecting a different result..

i think you guys still have time.

You sir are an optimist. When even most Pakistanis here so often let their guards down on topics which concern only them internally, thinking it of no interest to any Indian, and make comments like "see where we are today" or "we would not be where we are today if ...."
