Stupid is as stupid does - What the heck kind of jokes are about being terrorists? What kind of joke makes life dangerous or hard for airline employees, security personnel, and innocent passengers??

We are proud of ourselves as "face against the wind" - but that must never mean that we should accept being stupid and then express anger at others who do not expect us to act stupidly. I have zero sympathy for these stupids.

If anything these idiots should have spent the night in jail.
And considering he went for a bachelor party with his friends to Dubai.. I assume he is some privileged rich kid..and probably even made his "do who know who my daddy is" remarks to the airline staff instead of apologizing and clearing up the matter.

In Copenhagen Airport an Italian tourist who was heading back to Italy was also joking around saying he was a terrorist. He got a 1000€ fine, but were allowed to board the plane since it was an obvious joke.
I thought it was common knowledge that you don't use the terrorist word in airports.
