Emirates Airlines imposes lifetime ban on Qadri: report

The reason why the flight was diverted from Islamabad was because the Section 144 that was imposed by the government failed miserably. About 5,000 workers of PAT with sticks and stones invaded local police station and other buildings. Imagine if Qadri had landed in Islamabad, those very same people wouldve invaded Islamabad airport. CAA did the right thing by diverting the flight. It confused Qadris supporters, because CAA knew that if Qadri would land in Lahore, it would take hours before his supporters in Lahore would gather around the airport and by then, Qadri would be out of the airplane. But at the same time, CAA also failed because Qadri did not leave the airplane lol. At the end of the day, everyone failed. Govt failed for not enforcing Section 144 which now looks like a joke. Qadri failed because he was not allowed to land in Islamabad and the whole world made a mockery of him. Qadris supporters failed because they got trolled hard and didnt know what to do.

hahaha utterly pure and fake news. PMLN goons can have wet dreams for tonight after reading fake news. hahahaha. Pathetic losers.

Ohh sir, at least that plane was allowed to land inside Pakistan...off topic aap ke koi baat buri nahi lagte, (RESPECT).

The real issue with Noon League is that they politicize every aspect of society. How can they give good Governance if they Politicize all aspects of Governance. By diverting just this flight from Islamabad, they politicized Civil Aviation.

If this was for security in Islamabad, then the government had no choice.

It's a good move from Emirates Air line, they should had also banned PML-N from traveling their air line as well.

Emirates Airlines has imposed a lifetime travel ban on Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and is also considering initiating legal proceedings against him for keeping the aircraft ‘hostage’ for several hours at Lahore airport after the flight was diverted by the Pakistani government to Lahore from Islamabad over security concerns, a private news channel has reported.

According to the channel, the airliner was forced to take the decision after Qadri refused to get off the aircraft in Lahore and also barred other passengers from disembarking until he negotiated a deal with the provincial authorities.

The airliner believes that this act of Qadri was tantamount to hijacking therefore it was mulling legal options.

Except Pakistani media no one else (even official Emirates press release) is reporting the banning of him using Emirates. Pakistani News channels report anything and say the source is a "report".

Here is a contradicting news

Emirates Airlines threaten to lodge case against PML-N govt

Emirates Airlines has threatened to lodge ‘plane hijacking’ case against the incumbent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government, if the plane carrying Dr. Tahirul Qadri at Lahore airport was not vacated at the earliest, ARY News reported Monday.

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri is onboard Emirates Airline flight EK-612, which was scheduled to land in Islamabad this morning, but was diverted to Lahore over security reasons. Since 8.30am, the plane is stationed at Lahore airport, with Dr. Qadri refusing to disembark citing security concerns.

He argued why his plane was diverted to Lahore. Thousands of PAT activists have thronged airport in Lahore in order to provide security to their party head.

The Emirates Airlines has asked the government to immediately clear the situation and vacate the plane, otherwise a case against the Pakistani government would be registered, they added.

Anyhow, Pakistani media will always be the last thing I would trust due to it's professionalism.

He is here for Zakat Khori. FIR has been lodged against TUQ and his 1200 followers this morning according to a tweet by Dr. Shahid Masood.

@Topic From now on Emirates is my Favourite Airline. Sorry PIA feeling really sad on my tough decision.

He was considering a private plane of Emirate company as his "Baap ki jageer", now he will have to face the consequences for his actions.

It has all the authority to deny someone access to it's services.

If you can prove to the contrary, that would be much appreciated.
