Elon Musk to activate Starlink in Iran

. .
Aik haramipan ki train chal rahi hai, daikhain kon jeetta hai.
By the way, whatever the Irani govt is doing in her own country, Elon Musk should stay away from it. After intervention in Ukraine, this will be the second extensive intervention in any country.
This might get him killed.

Well the same people have suffered from your inhuman sanctions for years and now you wanna provide them with free internet?
I mean this Hijab thing is one thing but these economical hardship imposed due to the sanctions targeted ordinary people (also there are other reasons) have frustrated people so this drama of them being on side of people is laughable.
On the other hand isn't it meddling in other countries internal affairs?

I am not sure how far Iran is on this but I know China's defense ministry published a whitepaper some time back on how to disable Starlink in its area. They came up with a number of solutions ranging from ground based cyberattacks all the way to actively jamming and actually taking out individual Starlink satellites. I would have to imagine Iran would not be far behind and most probably there is some level of coordination in this research given that now China can test these solutions out in Iran.

First time I am supporting Uncle Sams initiative in this region.
Despite knowing they are just taking advantage of the situation ,I still support this because it gives Iranian people more power against the oppressive regime.
The technology is challenging many such tyrannical regimes around the world.
I will be a hypocrite if I don't support Iran on this because in Pakistan these days we are facing kind of similar situation.

Oh really? Then why US govt sanctions Online courses from Edx and Coursera to Iran, Cuba etc?

Who can take this course?

Unfortunately, learners residing in one or more of the following countries or regions will not be able to register for this course: Iran, Cuba and the Crimea region of Ukraine. While edX has sought licenses from the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to offer our courses to learners in these countries and regions, the licenses we have received are not broad enough to allow us to offer this course in all locations. edX truly regrets that U.S. sanctions prevent us from offering all of our courses to everyone, no matter where they live.

Thank to their maximum pressure/ sanctions we have built our country and we don't need their free internet

They have over 400 Persian language satellite chanels which spread anti-Islamic hatred against Iranian regime for decades

Saudi regime pays the money and israel and U.S run them

At that level, the CIA works for him
No, All US tech companies work for US Intel agencies (willingly or some unwillingly). That’s the only way they survive competition and stay afloat and go on generating billions later on . FB, WhatsApp share everything with NSA.Musk is just trying to get on the govt gravy train by offering his services. You scratch my back I scratch yours.
