Egyptian plan to attract $ 100 billion over 5 years

Take my word for it. Turks do NOT celebrate noruz. I don't know the meaning of jumping over fire. Yes, the Kurds do. But they're Iranic people. They're not Turks.

You imply that Ataturk forced TURKS to stop celebrating noruz. IS UTTERLY RETARDED.

As for fake republic. Who cares. if we want to have a fake Turkish history, thats our problem. why you care?

I'd rather die than be associated with you Iranians. As would any sane Turk :smitten:

Your history means nothing to us. I don't even know who the heck Babak is.

Well this is great news because without Iranians, arabs, Armenians and Greeks you barely have any achievements, culture or architecture

Tell that to your turkified Caucasian iranian azeri bros that they should stop saying the iranian hero babak is Turk

.
Unlike Iran, minorities in Turkey seek to go their own ways. Iran culture is strong enough to pull everyone together.
The case is that the name of country should be like umbrella, that mean every body can go below it and use its advantages.
b/c of that reason we forced European to use word Iran instead of persia otherwise we would be two name country like (Germany, Egypt, and many more example in current world)

. . .
As I said your history is fake and result of nationalism rise in 19 and 20 century in Europe.

Our fake history doesn't involve Iranians, so shouldn't be a problem for you. I didn't even know who Avicenna is either, had to google him

I suggest you guys to change name of your country to Anatolia republic instead fake republic.

Fake Republic sounds much better. If it bothers you so much, It can only mean a good thing :)

As for Turanians. Turks are descended from Central Asia. Turks are not claiming Iranians are us. so why the big issue?

.
I agree. It is just important to highlight that it is only 1 group in those two countries and most of those others. In Iraq only Kurds. It is not known outside of them. For instance many religiously mixed countries have various religious holidays for minorities but only those minorities celebrate it. For instance India is home to almost 200 million Muslims that celebrate Muslim holidays but it is still only 12.5-15% of their population who do it. Most do not.

I believe this tradition is an remnant of what people did many, many years ago to symbolize the change of seasons (weather) and is related to agriculture (harvest). Many cultures across the world have similar traditions. I believe Native Indians in the Americas have something similar. I know that pre-Abrahamic (pre-Judaism, Christianity and Islam) Semites (many, many millennia ago) had something similar (celebration of season change and the coming of spring).

It seems like a good and harmless tradition. I like farming a lot and agriculture for some strange reason. I have no idea where this comes from as I have no full-time farmers in my family lineage, unless it was in pre-Islamic times.

Even the vikings have similar change of season festivity by burning fire.

It's pagan.

As I said your history is fake and result of nationalism rise in 19 and 20 century in Europe. Turkey like Iran is diverse country with many different group and people inside but the important thing is that root of all these people are same and that is what keep all of us together I suggest you guys to change name of your country to Anatolia republic instead fake republic.
anyway best regard

Yes we are fake republic and over 60% of Iran is Azeri Turks, they will revolt soon.

.

Greeks, fair enough , they left some nice ruins. But name me one great Arab architecture. Please do. Please then name me any great Iranian or Armenian architecture in Turkey. I need a good laugh.

Tell that to your turkified Caucasian iranian azeri bros that they should stop saying the iranian hero babak is Turk

Oooh, so now its not the Turks that claim some Babak to be a Turkish national hero. but the Azeris.

. .
First time I agree with you, it's same in Turkey only kurds rejoice over that pagan tradition

I don't think so. If not for your rabid hatred for 500 million Arabs and 20 + Arab countries (for some strange reason), I am sure that we two could agree on a lot of things.

A friendly advice (I don't hold any grudges against anonymous people online), refrain from troll comments. Much better to have useful discussions but it is your choice.

Anyway non-Middle Eastern people, in particular outsiders who look at us in the exact same spotlight and want to harm us and the region, must laugh themselves to bed looking at the state of SOME of our discussions and that of the region. It seems that we like to shot ourselves in the foot.

It is pagan in nature for sure and I believe that it was one of the earliest traditions of mankind after the introduction of agriculture in what is today the Arab Near East (Neolithic) some 15.000-12.000 years ago.

Each peoples that still celebrate have their own versions of it. It's not really something "unique".

I don't hate you personally, but I get angry when you copy paste same long posts with same pictures all the time of how bad Turkey is and how arabs are the best of the best of the best.

You copy paste same long posts 100x times.

It's very irritating, everyone can copy paste like that.
