Both Egypt and Azerbaijan negotiated initial deals on Thunder with Pakistan and later went to China for deeper technical specifications which is quite obvious. They both want it in jf-17 configuration. Egypt has a deep technological expertise as they have embarked on many military projects and still going great guns but one must not bring irrelevant things into discussion.

Your way of discussion is really hostile and it will stimulate negative reactions from our brothers.

First of all, all you said before about su?? Family is just rumors; no official source ever confirmed certain Russian planes. The only case Egypt was going after Russian birds was the Mig-29SMT deal, which replaced by new f-16-52 deal with USA in the end.

So, we are interesting now about local manufacturing for multirole fighter frame. If both China and Pakistan has the same airframe of course we should go to Pakistan, the reasons are more than "clear".

If some of our brothers feel hesitate about sale production right to Egypt, you must understand them as this is there first plane, yet they didn't' produce there one needs from it.

Unfortunately, we are not one of the reach oil countries, but brother, no buddy claim such demands for plane fuselage co-production . The negotiations should provide both sides with solution give benefits for both of them, what is required from Egypt in that case is to pay money in returnee of production rights.

Big question mark n u should know better that if in any case USA provides any of these aircrafts so wat these will not come with BVR missiles which is the need of the hour and add muscle to the capability of the aircraft ...u are talking about f-16's Egypt have but dun u know even not a single one of them is loaded with BVr missile as USA dun sell them to u.. Sophisticated weapons also play an important role in enhancing the capability of aircraft

Where as jf-17 comes with no restriction as well as BVR missiles so u can use them any where any time against any one may it b Israel which in case of f-16's and f-35 u cant do

By the way if um not wrong Israel is a third level partner in f-35 and she will not let US to sale it to Egypt

And i thnk your Airforce is more knowledgeable thn u and they are going for jf-17 for a reason and complaining us for this is of no worth better to go to your defence ministry and ACM and ask him about that

what are you talking about? These are our(US) technologies we transfer to Egypt(in foreign Military Sales) so you can maintain you armed force. other then that you have not invent any thing in military technologies.
And come to the Chinese when they copy they make better better then Russian technologies look at the example F-7G its better then Russian MIG 21.

while doing business u have to satisfy the customer and try to get benefit from it. In todays world one cannot ask for these luxuries just because the other one wants to buy our fighter. they want tot then they will pay for it. if we don't satisfy them they will go for Mig29 or more F16.

You tell alll Users which great Aerospace Industry Egypt have. A simple Question by side, have your country managed to develop and produce a basic Trainer Aircraft, a tactical or strategic UAV indigenous ?

Turkey has done these Steps and you will see TIHA(strategic MALE UAV) and Hurkus (basic Training Aircraft) will conduct it's Testfligh during this Year. Don't forget Pakistan has developed a great Range of tactical UAV and also particapatet in the Development of JF-17 Fighter Aircraft.

Russia to Cooperate with Egypt in Development of Transport Airplane

Today, as the result of the 7th meeting of the joint Russo-Egyptian commission on economic cooperation, the Russian Federation minister of industry and trade, Viktor Khristenko, announced that Russia will cooperate with Egypt in the area of creating a transport airplane.

As the AVIA.RU correspondent reports, Mr. Khristenko reported that the cooperation is planned within the framework of the development both of heavy and of light transport airplanes. According to him, all possible variants will be studied.

Dear brother,

I just have 1 comment. In fact Egyptian f-16s has already BVR missiles, they are carrying Aim-7M with range 50km. but the problem is that missile is Simi active radar homing, we need active radar homing missile like Aim-120 or R-77 or SD-10. but that doesn’t mean we don't have BVRs.
