Egypt's civil aviation ministry said that after Lebanon's massive explosion last week it was moving "dangerous materials" held at airports nationwide to more secure locations.

The ministry is "taking precautionary measures with regards to dangerous materials, either immediately releasing them or transferring them to safe storage spaces well outside the range of airports and residential areas," it said in a statement Sunday.

The statement referred to materials held in "cargo bays and storage warehouses in Cairo's airport and all airports nationwide", without specifying which kind of materials would be moved.

The announcement came after an unsecured stock of ammonium nitrate stored in a warehouse in Beirut's port exploded last Tuesday, killing at least 158 people and wounding 6,000 others.

"A committee will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of all procedures applied inside the storage areas... in order to address any risks before they arise," Egypt's civil aviation minister, Mohamed Manar, was quoted as saying.

. . .
Cannot rule out any possibility here as well in Pakistan.

Our customs, port authorities of both air and sea, should check all the warehouses where such materials can be found to avoid any Beirut type disaster.

What a filthy racist thing to say.

He is Arabized already it's a won battle.

The Islamic conquest was as much an Arab conquest. Pakistan is the eastern military outpost of the Arab world, his entire life struggle is for the Arab cause.

Not being racist, but it shows the lack of seriousness among Arab society of the most basic security mechanisms -- and not just in the Middle East, you will see me trashing Pakistani behavior as well more often than others, as even Pakistani's have a lack of planning and foresight as well.

These chemicals are transiting through all international airports and ports.. so the danger is there for everyone!
What happened in Beirut, Lebanon.. is a deliberate act of sabotage..those chemicals needs an agent and medium to be activated and explode in that way..

This issue is those chemicals been pilling up for last 6 years and no action was taken to eliminate a potential hazard. Someone could be doing a welding job and accidentally spark it for example.

these people dont care.. you need to realize that these people see you inferior.. like a slave someone who will be there if they need help or to fullfill wishes.. just a resource like we use beasts to get milk, meat or their strength

so explaining this has no value for them.. kindness is considered as weakness
