It's not govt problem but demand supply problem. PTI govt can import cheap vegetables, wheat, sugar from abroad and flood the market like pmln did, but it would bankrupt Pakistan as it happened in 2018

Bro I have nothing against you. I am genuinely sorry if people who are a direct casualty of the hard phase we are going through. We are mostly through it. From next year onwards market will rationalize to the new equilibrium.
If someone had asked me in 2015 especially in 2016 what we will see in the next couple of years, my answer would have been the situation we are going through right now. It was like a writing on the wall.
What made it worse was in the last 2 years of Plmn, instead of course correcting they hit full speed, because of elections. Sooner or later he economic car was going to crash and here pti is collecting the slack.

To be honest if you ask me pti could have done a better job in managing the crisis but it was due and their was no option on the table that would have averted it. Had this government not taken the necessary steps and gone on the same path the consequences would have been far more devastating.

Btw tomatoes were never 450Rs and roti was never 30 Rs. Nevertheless inflation was a given, there was no way around it. As much as I feel sorry for the people going through it, I feel sorry for pti as well because they were left to pick up the abuses for a decade of extreme economic terrorism while the true culprits are enjoying their life in London.

When pti took over from Plmn in 2018 external debt requirement was around 30 billion dollars with current account deficit of 19.9 billion dollars.
